2 10:30 am 11:50 am Communicating Effectively with Legislators & Policymakers Emerging leaders will examine strategies to navigate the etiquette and logistics of successful meetings with legislators and other policymakers. Participants will meet with advocates, develop talking points for their Hill visits, and build skills to strategically share personal experiences in a meaningful, effective, and empowering manner. 3 examine challenges to making change happen, and discuss how emerging leaders can get involved in similar reform efforts in their communities.
