1 Webinar March 2015 Updates & Feature Enhancements Questions Log Q: Is there a way to batch add and/or remove a Production Contact from existing contract lines? A: Currently there is not a way to do this in "batch" format - however, a "Batch Edit" feature is currently in Development. Feel Free to open a "Wish List" feature enhancement tech support ticket with your specific requests. Q: Where would we store the note for materials reminder to send a group out through the ad manager? A: You will first SETUP the Material Reminder letter in Communications>Production Letters. Then, when you send out the actual Material Reminder Letter / - a note gets saved in the client record (under the Production Contact or whomever the Material Reminder went to). In the Notes & Activities area... Q: How about notifications for online payments? A: This is GREAT idea! You should definitely suggest that as a "Wishlist" Ticket. Q: As an admin/publisher can I receive notifications on contracts expiring? A: Yes you can! It only needs to be setup in the Employee Editor area under your User Account.

2 Q: So the my clients section sends info only on that reps clients? A: Correct Q: Is there a charge for this function? A: There is no charge for the communication feature. Q: Is there a way we can see stats from an blast sent out to groups? A: If you are using the Contactology Integration with Magazine Manager - you have access to all the analytic reports that they have available. The magazine Manager is not specifically an Communication software and was not designed to capture that level of detailed information. Q: I would like to see commission reports and aging reports as part of the summary notifications. A: Thanks for your valuable Feedback!! Please submit your suggestions via Tech Support so that it is logged and tracked accordingly. Q: Will the BCC function include any attachments too? A: Not immediately but possibly in a future release of the feature. Q: Can you use this routing feature with Gmail? A: Yes - it can be used with any client. Q: Can we set the notifications on the customer profiles so that it shows when I create an invoice, but not every time I print it? A: You should open a ticket for this. Q: How does the copy get placed in the correct company notes section? A: It will identify the address in the database and place the note in the Notes & Activities area. Q: What if there are two accounts that have the same address - i.e. Agency on two accounts? A: The note capture will go into any account that it finds with that address. The Agency should only have ONE account in MM - even if it is LINKED to more than one Advertiser... Q: And so it knows which account to paste the note in because of the in the "To:" field, correct? A: Correct. Q: Can you bcc your unique MM BCC using applications like Gmail? A: Yes this is one of the main reasons for the interface to capture a note/ when you are not necessarily readily able to log into MM.

3 Q: Do you have to be an ADMIN user to create the custom search or can any user create their own custom search? A: Any User will be able to set up their own Search Criteria! Q: Are there any new editorial functions coming out? A: Editorial Management is done in Digital Studio - currently there are no enhancements to this functionality that are being released. Q: There needs to be functionality for Editorial similar to how we work the ads/ad management. Where we can view editorial assignments; track where edit is in the design process and pay writers/freelancers A: Editorial items can be managed in Digital Studio. Some Clients DO use the Ad Management functionality to track editorial items (by Product, Schedule, Rate Card, Ad Size etc). Q: It would be a lot cleaner if it was set up as Edit in Magazine Manager and the info was populated in Digital Studio the way that the ads are; A: Thanks for your feedback - we will forward to the Development team for this feature! Q: Have you updated anything for circulation? A: The Circulation Module has NOT been updated at this time - enhancement to this module will be an entire re-write Project. Q: Will this new customer search feature be available to use on an ipad? A: The new Search is being developed initially for laptop/desktop functionality. IPad development will possibly be a part of Phase 2 release! Q: Can there be a search field by customer #? A: This has been requested in feedback by some clients and it is in line to be added to the Search criteria. A flex Report can also be created to search by Customer ID. Q: When you enter the information under the person not the company what happens when you delete the person because they've left the company? A: For Data Integrity purposes - you should never DELETE a person if they have left the company. Some clients will create a Contact TYPE called No longer with Company or any similar identifier so that the contact can be flagged as such and you still maintain the historical information. Q: Is there a hyper link to invoices from details page on client record? A: The Hyperlink is created when an invoice is Printed or ed - and a link is automatically generated in the Notes & Activities area of the Advertiser record.

4 Q: Is there a field to search by check #? A: Currently this is not one of the standard search fields. A Flex Report can be created to do a search by Check #. Q: Can you add the ability to search by the customer account numbers to the invoice search page; also can you add it to the accounts payable page? A: You should definitely suggest that in a "Wishlist" Ticket. Q: With regards to linking notes to a Subcontact - wouldn't the note entered under "company" also appear on search page? I don't get the importance of making sure it's on the person, and not company? A: When the note is linked to the actual individual - it is linked to them specifically and not just to the Company as a whole. Example if you have a callback scheduled for a customer on your MY LIST tab any previous notes specific to THAT PERSON would not be viewable as reference. Q: Will there ever be an option to delete a production note on a job jacket? A: Not to my knowledge. You can certainly submit this request. Q: Can you add a field for the insertion #? I sometimes get payments that refer to that proposal # and it is the only information that I have. A: We will take this feedback and forward it to the Development Team! Q: Is there a way to place a 2 page spread that appears in different folios? We routinely run an inside front cover-p1 spread. I placed them in DS using 2 full pages, 1 on IFC and 1 on P1. Is that the best way to handle this? As far as the stats, our 2-page spread rates are different from 2- full page ads. I'm wondering if how I placed the spread affected the issue stats.

5 A: You did this correctly. Placing the actual Ad on page IFC and use a Full Page Placeholder for the second page of the spread. Q: Can you copy an issue month to month if your layout stays the same month to month? A: You DO have the ability to copy Ad and Editorial page information using the Tools Dropdown in Digital Studio as long as the Ad/Editorial is created in the Issue that you are copying it "into". Q: If I want to copy our April issue and save as may issue - is that possible A: Not the entire Issue - it has to be done by selecting pages. Q: How do you put the digital link on for tear sheets on the invoice? A: The Digital Edition Link can be placed on the Invoice Template each month and the Invoice template can be configured to pull the Advertiser specific Page number so that they can access a digital version of their Ad. Q: How can we become a beta tester of your new features? A: You can open a tech support ticket and request this. Thank you for your interest in participating!! Q: Any timelines for release dates yet? A: We are looking at possibly June 1st for release date! Q: Will we be notified when these features come out of beta?
