8 Dart Design: GES Case Study Greenenviro Energy Systems (GES) is a renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV Panels. As a fledgeling company in a highly competitive market, the GES brand needed to strike the right balance between environmental issues and a professional and established business. A simple, contemporary logo was the answer used alongside a series of striking images to add energy and passion. The strapline Energy for life helps to strengthen their service offering and give out a powerful, positive message. These elements were then implemented across stationery, advertising, leaflets, an updatable website, livery, signage, workwear and continued marketing material. Within 2 months of trading GES have a full order book and are already expanding their team to cope with the work.

11 Dart Design: John Austin Case Study John Austin is a local, independent specialist, servicing and repairing Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. As a 40 year old company recently acquired by a new owner, the John Austin brand needed to be brought up-to-date without alienating their loyal customers. Enhancing and refreshing their existing logo gave them a contemporary look which could then be translated to all their marketing material. It was also important to emphasis value for money and this was achieved with the use of simple, straighttalking language and visuals. Ongoing press advertising and group workshops at the garage are raising greater awareness. The website is constantly updated with expert advice and handy hints to help customers get the best out of their motoring - which supports their valued customer service and quality workmanship. Since working with John Austin, they have expanded their business by doubling their workshop space and are busier than ever.

14 Dart Design: Atkins Thomson Case Study Atkins Thomson is a law firm with offices in London and Bury St Edmunds. With a new Family Law division in place, Atkins Thomson needed to build a greater awareness of the firm s expansion in Bury St Edmunds. This was achieved by creating a series of press ads concentrating on their Divorce and Separation expertise. The campaign needed to be distinctive in a rather dull and predictable marketplace and give the company a solid but approachable personality. This personality is at the heart of all the law firm s advertising and, 3 years down the line, has become recognised and respected by the local community and business professionals alike. Other marketing for Atkins Thomson includes leaflets for their residential conveyancing service, which are strategically placed in local estate agents, door-drop flyer campaigns distributed throughout the local area and numerous sponsored events. Our 5-year business relationship with Atkins Thomson continues to flourish and we will be looking to design a fresh ad campaign for them in the near future.
