11 Clouds over Asia No universal definition of what is cloud Applications Security Though hosted ERP, CRM and office applications available off-the-shelf, majority of applications remain bespoke Physical and data security remains a major concern for enterprises looking at cloud migration. Country level data privacy and location regulation also an issue in many markets Data Center Data centers have multiplied dramatically, crowding out mature markets like Singapore, Australia and HK to push footprints into emerging locations like Malaysia, Thailand, India and China Network Lots of capacity. Majority of regional, North American and European cable links to Asia have been upgraded to 100G in the past 12 months. 12
