It can be used by anyone, for any reason young and old, pre school, all students, college students, and physically challenged. This transit system can be used for a regularly scheduled ride or a one time ride. Volunteer drivers are also available when the bus can t get you there. Please call for current rates. Rides are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The system does not run on holidays. 8 ****The Senior Nutrition Program offers a noon meal to anyone 60 years of age and older. Congregate sites are locations where persons 60+ can gather and enjoy a nutritious meal. Reservations must be made one day in advance by calling the phone number listed for the site. RENVILLE COUNTY ATTORNEY S 5 th St Suite 320 The duties of the Renville County Attorney Office include the prosecution of adult felonies and gross misdemeanors occurring in the county, prosecution of misdemeanor and traffic violations that occur in the county outside of city limits, juvenile delinquency prosecution, court work child protection cases, and civil commitment for people with mental illness or chemical dependency. The Attorney's Office also serves as the general legal advisor for all county government departments. 13 The Office of the Ombudsman for Older Minnesotans is a state program that works with consumers, citizens, nursing homes, hospitals, home care and social service agencies and public agencies to enhance the quality of care and services of persons receiving health care and supportive services at home, in the hospital, nursing home or other community setting such as housing with services (assisted living), adult foster care and adult day centers. These programs tap the experience, skills, talents, interests, and creativity of seniors age 55 and over. Senior Corps participants are committed to sharing their life experience in order to help solve critical local problems in the areas of education, public safety, the environment, and other human needs. Some help just a few hours a month. Others commit to hours of service every week. Senior Corps volunteers serve in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. There are over 18,000 senior citizens who volunteer through the Senior Service Corps programs in the state of Minnesota. The Minnesota Senior Corps is always looking for new volunteers.
