2 Technical Information Remote Monitoring Smart Metering Meter Interface Unit Hardware: For connecting a Heat Meter to a GPRS modem with built-in GSM sim IP66 Wall Box (200mm x 200mm x 120mm), with ISTA M-Bus GPRS modem and GSM roaming sim. MinuteView Software: Web interface allowing remote online visibility of heat consumption collected from the heat meters on site. Quarterly RHI Statements Software: Remote data collection allows automatic RHI statement reports for submission to OFGEM. Fuel Consumption Calculations & Viewer Software: Calculates fuel consumption based on heat meter readings and allows accurate fuel delivery scheduling.

3 Boiler, Heat Meter & Fuel Store Monitoring Remote Monitoring Visualisation Unit (RMVU) Hardware: IP66 Wall Box (300mm x 500mm x 120mm) connects Herz T-control to the internet via a 3G router with built-in GSM sim. Herz Boiler Visualisation Software: Allows remote access to the T-Control via a VNC Viewer on a Smart Phone, Tablet or PC. Boiler processes and parameters can be read and modified at any time from anywhere. ModControl Interface Unit Hardware: Interface that translates the Biocontrol3000 data into the new T-control format. This unit is required for remote visualisation of a boiler with a Biocontrol3000 controller. HD Camera for monitoring the fuel store Hardware: 1.3 megapixel infra-red HD camera, suitable for streaming images of the fuel store internals. Note: The RMVU is required to connect into this item. HD Camera for monitoring the heat meter(s) Hardware: 2 megapixel HD camera, suitable for streaming images of the heat meter(s) front LCD. Note: The RMVU is required to connect into this item. Fuel Store Capacitive Level Sensor & Web Relay Hardware: IP65 Capacitive Level Sensor switches when low fuel level is detected. Information is processed through the web relay and the RMVU and onto the client via . Note: The RMVU and Web Relay User Licence is required to connect into this item. Fuel Store Weighing System Signal Box & Web Relay Hardware: IP65 Load Cell Amplifier sends analogue signal when low fuel level is detected. Information is processed through the web relay and the RMVU and onto the client via . Note: The RMVU and Web Relay User Licence are required to connect into this item. Web Relay User Licence Software: Allows 24hour access to the Fuel Store Level Sensor/Weighing System outputs.

4 Data Charge Charge for the data outputted via the roaming sim. Notes The following items are EXCLUDED, unless specifically included for in the proposal. - VAT at the current rate - Supply and installation of all external control systems including Building Energy Management Systems and any other heat distribution controls - The modification of any existing heating controls within each building to be heated - The design and installation of heat distribution wet system, including radiators - Provision of mains water and adequate electrical supply into the plant room - Plant room - Commissioning fuel. This must be provided by the customer to the correct specification - Regular maintenance and boiler service. P.O.A. - Incurred costs due to delays outside our control. - Planning applications fees and Building Control. - Energy displays (other than heat meters and biomass remote monitoring software. - Removal of any asbestos on site. Services Many of these items that we have excluded from the quotation fall within the normal scope of work that Rural Energy perform or can offer assistance with; especially mechanical services, the fuel storage and fuel sourcing, and we would be pleased to discuss them further with you as the project progresses.
