5 The M24: system components A Keypads for M24 The easy-to-use keypad with group omitting function provides a clear overview of the conditions in individual protection sectors. The LCD version also allows for complex operating and basic programming procedures. It provides a clear plain text display of all results. The IK 3 operating module can be used to conveniently arm/disarm the system. Moreover, the keyboard can be used to execute up to 100 programmable functions. Hold-up button The hold-up button discreetly and directly notifies intervention squads in the event of an emergency, so is installed in easy-to-reach places. To avoid obstruction, the hold-up button features a reliable tamper switch. C Seismic detector The seismic detector monitors safes, armoured safes and concrete walls. Viewguard The Viewguard product series is a comprehensive range of motion detectors featuring a consistent design. The only difference in appearance between the PIR and the DUAL motion detectors with integrated microwave unit is their size.
