2 Project Information Title: Project Number: Web based training of biomedical specialists: Application to biomedical device technology teachers of Vocational High Schools connected to Ministry of National Education TR1-LEO Year: 2008 Project Type: Status: Marketing Text: Summary: Description: Themes: Transfer of Innovation granted One of the most important needs for hospitals and medical sector is the qualified medical device technologists such as BME s, BMET s, and MDTT s. The project has the ambitious objective to realize a continuous training of BME s, BMET s, and in the present situation, MDTTs WEBD (Web based training of biomedical specialists) is proposing to use advanced distance learning technologies and to provide professional education for Biomedical Engineers (BME s), Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET s), and Medical Device Technology Teachers (MDTT s). One of the most important needs for hospitals and medical sector is the qualified medical device technologists such as Biomedical Engineers-BME s, Biomedical Biomedical Equipment Technicians-BMET s, and Medical Device Technology Teachers-MDTT s. The project has the ambitious objective to realize a continuous and professional training of BME s, BMET s, and in the present situation, MDTTs (and all enthusiasts about BME). The partnership aims cooperating in developing and improving a distance learning platform for training in BME and BMET fields.
