5 Reminders from the NCAA Eligibility Center Academic Certification NCAA Eligibility Center is now providing preliminary academic decisions within 10 business days on cases that are Ready to Process Activated on your Institutional Request List (IRL) Transcripts from all high schools At least one test score on file This service is for domestic academic certifications only (international and homeschool cases are not included). Eligibility Center Amateurism Certification Prospective student-athletes who have a gap between high school graduation and enrollment at an NCAA college or university will often need to have their NCAA graduation date established so their amateurism certification may be processed. Official transcripts from all high schools attended or international academic records are required for this purpose. Reminders Competition/travel must be institution certified Roster and IRL updates Transfer and Freshman on roster should be on IRL New student-athletes who are returning students Compliance paperwork/medical training staff Register in eligibility center Complete amateurism in eligibility center CARA Reports Active/Inactive players on roster Travel Itineraries 24 hours before departure Official Visits 48 hours before visit Forms visits, try-outs, GIA, etc. 5
