1 Fresh Fish Traders School Annual Plan English school s major concerns 1.1 Care for the students ( ) Promote a warm and sincere image of principal and teachers, to facilitate the communication between teachers and students. Make good use of the campus, to strengthen students sense of belonging to the school. 1.2 Love of life ( ) Through life education, let the students understand the meaning of life, and enhance both physical and psychological development. Encourage them to learn actively, so as to be well-equipped, and also participate in district affairs, so as to reward and contribute to the society. 1.3 Protect the living environment ( ) Improving the scenery of the campus, to provide a comfortable environment for learning. Let the students recognize the relationship between Man and the natural environment. Enhance the Civil Education, to promote contribution to the society. 1.4 Foster students learning, enhance quality learning and teaching ( ) 2. Intended outcomes / targets 2.1 Develop good reading habits in students for effective learning. 2.2 Motivate students learning through a diversity of activities and materials such as project learning and My Notebook. 2.3 Enhance quality teaching and learning by collaboration.

Present situation 3.1 Strengths Support from the Principal much space for development and sufficient funds for buying English resources Our school has joined the English Extensive Reading Scheme for P.1 to P.6 students Collaborative teaching between the NET and the English teachers has been implemented, communication in the English panel is enhanced Teachers share experience and methodology through formal and informal meetings. 3.2 Weaknesses Most of the students have less motivation or confidence in learning and using English both inside and outside the classroom Students have little opportunities to use English especially outside the classroom Individual differences between students are great Teachers workload is heavy.
