1 NEXT Tools of the Participant Portal: Scientific Reports & Deliverables
2 Scientific Reporting and Deliverables: Terminology Scientific Reporting: Standardised format & always due at the end of Reporting Period (defined in Article II.4 of GA) Linked to payment NEXT Deliverables: Format, contents & timing individually defined in Annex I of Grant Agreement (Article II.4.8 of GA Deliverables identified in Annex I shall be submitted as foreseen therein ) Not directly linked to payment
3 When to submit the reports and deliverables? Deliverables: timing as defined in Annex I of GA (Article II.4.8), can be continuously uploaded Periodic Report(s): within 60 days at the end of each reporting period (including the last reporting period) Final Report: within 60 days after the end of the project Final Report Distribution of EU financial contribution: within 30 days after receipt of the final payment of the EU financial contribution A report is considered complete when all parts are sent by the Coordinator to the Commission. 4 Scientific Reporting and Deliverables: How to submit the reports? STOP By electronic means: (via the Participant Portal web services) Periodic Reports, Final Reports, Deliverables, etc. and Forms C By normal post: (to the mail address indicated in article 8 of the GA) In parallel to the electronic submission and only for: the signed Forms C (as prepared and submitted via the Participant Portal web services) the certificates on financial statements or certificates on the methodology (where applicable/necessary) Form D, E
5 Approval of reports Approval and payment by COM within 105 days after the receipt of the complete report. No tacit approval Suspension of time limit if clarifications or additional information is needed.

9 Deliverables: Workflow 1. Define the Deliverables in Work Packages during the Negotiation of the Project. If not encoded in the negotiation forms, the titles will have to be encoded before uploading the Deliverables in this tool (otherwise they are uploaded automatically). CoCo PaCo CoCo NEXT Two steps submission: 2. FP7 Beneficiary uploads the Deliverables 3. Coordinator validates and submits to the Commission. 4. Commission evaluates the deliverables accept or reject CoCo PaCo Task M. CoCo Task M. If the Commission rejects the Deliverables, a new, modified version will have to be uploaded.
