It allows the user to convert text in a word document to an audio file; this allows the user to listen to the text in the document. Wordtalk works on all versions of Microsoft word. Duolingo offers Spanish, French, German, Chinese, and many other languages. The App is available for iphone, ipad, and on the web. StudyBlue o Description: StudyBlue allows for students to create flashcards and other study devices off this app. It is easy to use and would be great to use for a studying a foreign language. myhomework o Description: Simple and easy to use App that allows users to add homework assignments, exams, papers, and other school work to a planner. 3 ibooks o Description: ibooks is a great way to keep all of your books in one place. This App allows you to download books directly to your iphone or ipad. It is often times cheaper to buy books online than in store. pp/ibooks/id ?mt=8 Evernote o Description: Evernote is a great app to help increase productivity. Evernote allows you to take notes, create to- do lists, record voice memos, and capture pictures. This App is great because you can synch it to multiple devices so you can get your notes anywhere. Chegg Flashcards o Description: Allows students to create flash cards right onto mobile device. 4 Doc Scan HD o Description: Allows user to scan documents into PDF form onto the ipad. This is a great resource to help keep track of handouts and files. Grade 3 also has group messaging and class information, in case you are working on a group project. Grade 3, also, has a note- taking device in which you can organize and star important note for reviewing later. The coolest part about Grade 3 is the apps ability to track progress throughout the semester. By inputting your grades, the app will tell you what you have to do to reach the projected goal you have set for yourself.

6 Lumosity Mobile o Description: Train your memory through interactive games and challenges. This app is helpful in boosting brain activity and develops critical thinking and strengthens your memory. While this app does not directly help with a class, it will help you preform better in the classroom. Freedom is a great way to help boost productivity. Compatible for Windows and MAC.

7 Anti- Social o Price: $15.00 o Description: Similar to Freedom, Anti- Social blocks social media sites to help increase productivity. The app is compatible with Windows and MAC. While the app maybe a little expensive, but it will help increase productivity, if you are distracted by social media. social.cc E- readers: o Price: Varies on Device- Kindle, ipad, other Tablet Devices o Description: E- readers are an affordable way to rent and buy books for the classroom. Many tablets, including the ipad, have reader capabilities and allow you to store all your books in one handheld device. Purchasing books for E- readers is often times cheaper then the standard textbook and are a great investment. External hard drive o Price: Varies on storage capability. ($60- $90) o Description: External hard drives are important in protecting your work in case your computer crashes. These are also portable and you can hook up to another computer; they are essentially giant USB thumb drives.
