3 Lincoln Center 1519 Water Street Voice or Fax TTY As the number of service providers and resources in our community grows with each passing year, it becomes increasingly challenging to keep up-to-date with the many options and choices available. In our effort to provide seniors, adults with disabilities, and their families and caregivers with accurate and comprehensive information regarding available community resources, we are pleased to present the annual Community Resource Directory produced as a collaborative effort between our department and the Stevens Point Buyers Guide. We thank the Stevens Point Buyers Guide and the advertisers in this directory for helping to make this publication possible. Our mission is to support seniors, adults with disabilities, and their families and caregivers by offering easy access to services and by fostering a caring community that values lifelong contributions, maximum independence, and individual dignity. This directory is intended to serve as a starting point for accessing services in Portage County. Please save this directory to use throughout the year to help you, a family member or a friend locate a program, service or product. Our staff welcomes the opportunity to meet with you to further discuss available resources, and we are available to assist you in locating services and programs, if desired. It is our intention to further expand and enhance the directory with each year s publication. We welcome your comments and suggestions to improve future directories. The does not assume responsibility for the services, nor does it endorse advertising content, in this directory. Further, this publication does not represent all businesses and organizations serving seniors and adults with disabilities in Portage County. We have made every effort to make this directory useful to community members, and regret if an agency was omitted. An organization s inclusion or exclusion is not a reflection of its merit. Agencies and businesses with information to be considered for future publications should contact our office. Sincerely, Janet Cindy L. Piotrowski Zander Director Community Resource 2015 Page 3
