2 Introduction If your company provides IT services you are eligible for Lunacloud s Partner Program. Under this program, your company will have access to and benefit from special conditions to use Lunacloud s cloud infrastructure (IaaS) and platform services (PaaS). There are two different partnership levels: Partner and Preferred Partner. The differences relate to the level of engagement as well as the benefits provided by Lunacloud. 2 of 11

3 Partner levels A Partner is a company that provides IT services, part of which are provided on top of Lunacloud s infrastructure and platform services. A Preferred Partner is a company that provides IT services and has chosen Lunacloud as a strategic cloud infrastructure and platform service provider. The Preferred Partner is willing to have a higher level of engagement with Lunacloud at all levels. Discount level Discount provided on all Lunacloud s services. 4 Control Panel & API Lunacloud does not provide a white-label control panel that the Partner may use under its own brand to provide its end customers access to Lunacloud s infrastructure. Lunacloud provides a Control Panel to the Partner, from which all Lunacloud s services may be managed (create servers, delete servers, change resources, etc.). It is the responsibility of the partner to deliver its own services to the customer. The Partner may provide a service to the end customer on top of Lunacloud s infrastructure and platform services (Cloud Server, Cloud Storage, Cloud Mongo, etc.) or may provide the end customer root/admin access level to Lunacloud s services, depending on its own strategy. The Partner may also interact with Lunacloud s services using the compute or storage API s, which allows the Partner to develop its own applications that will control how Lunacloud s services are used by its customers. 4 of 11

5 How to become a Partner 1. Open your account online at 2. If you opt to become a Preferred Partner, after opening the account do not forget to make a pre-payment (Initial Commitment, as described in the previous section). This amount will be credited to your account and you will be able to use it to pay for any Lunacloud services. This pre-payment can be done using the Payments option on the Control Panel. 3. Fill in the Partner Information Form (Annex A). 4. Send the Partner Information Form and signed Partner Agreement (Annex B) by to partners@lunacloud.com. 5. After receiving the documentation (Partner Information Form and Partner Agreement) Lunacloud will associate the right discount level with your partner account. 6. That s it! You can start using Lunacloud s services. 5 of 11

6 Marketing A Preferred Partner has a higher level of engagement with Lunacloud. Lunacloud provides a higher discount and support level to the Partner. The Partner makes reference to Lunacloud, on its marketing collateral material, such as leaflets or brochures (if any), as well on its web site (required). Lunacloud may also make reference to the Partner, on its Partner section of the web site A standard Partner (not Preferred Partner ) may choose whether or not to make any reference to Lunacloud on its marketing material and web site. Reference to Lunacloud on the Partner s web site must follow simple guidelines available at: of 11

9 Annex A - Partner Registration Form Please fill in this form to register as a Lunacloud partner. The form can be filled in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese. 10 Annex B - Partner Agreement Between Lunacloud, Lda, with its headquarter located in Rua das Cardosas, Maia, Portugal, under the registration number PT hereby referred as Lunacloud. And [PARTNER S NAME] with is headquarter located in [PARTNER S ADDRESS], under the registration number, hereby referred as Partner. Whereas Lunacloud is a pure-play cloud services provider with presence in different countries, that focuses on delivering reliable, elastic and low cost cloud infrastructure services (IaaS), on which partners and customers can run operating systems and applications or store data. Lunacloud services, such as Cloud Servers and Cloud Storage, are self-managed by each customer, using a Web Control Panel or through Application Programming Interfaces. Partner is an IT provider that requires cloud computing infrastructure to deliver services to its customers, with whom it maintains a direct relationship. Agreement 1. Under this non-exclusive agreement, the Partner becomes a special customer of Lunacloud and is entitled to: a. Receive a discount of 10% (Partner) or 20% to 25% (Preferred Partner) on all services provided by Lunacloud to the Partner, that it may use to provide services to its customers or for its own internal needs. b. Access to preferential support from Lunacloud, regarding the use of its cloud infrastructure services. c. Use the partner logos made available by Lunacloud, on the Partner s website, provided the logo usage instructions are followed and during the term of this agreement. 2. If the Partner chose to be a Preferred Partner (instead of a standard Partner), Partner should be make a pre-payment to its Lunacloud account, which is the Initial Commitment described in the Partner Program. This amount may be used to pay for Lunacloud s services. In addition, after month 12 of signing this agreement, Partner must be spending a monthly amount equivalent to the Minimum Commitment described in the Partner Program. If the Minimum Commitment level is not achieved, Lunacloud may, at its own discretion, change the partner level to Partner and reduce the discount level to 10% of 11

Partner is responsible for the relationship at all levels with its own customers, unless it refers the customer to directly open an account with Lunacloud, in which case it becomes a Lunacloud direct customer. 4. The Partner shall pay the normal fees charged by Lunacloud, available at with the discount referred in 1.a.. Lunacloud invoices usage fees every month after the account creation date, as it does for all its customers, and applies the discount automatically. 5. Lunacloud has the right to refuse the application of the Partner, in which case any pre-paid amount (if any) not used will be refunded. 6. This agreement is valid for periods of one year after the signing date and is automatically renewed for similar periods if none of the parties cancels the agreement, by sending communication to the other party, with at least 30 days notice from the renewal dates.
