Sydney TAFE is approved to offer training for new entrant trainees in the courses listed in the table below. The student fee is set by the government and covers the full qualification for as long as it takes you to complete your training. Exemptions from paying the student fee and concession fees are available for eligible students see Fees and Charges on the Sydney TAFE website To be eligible for governmentsubsidised training as a trainee you must: be an Australian citizen, or permanent resident, or humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen be 15 years or older live or work in NSW no longer be at school have found an employer who will take you on as a trainee. NOTE: the courses in the list below are also available to students who are not eligible for government-subsidised training. A different fee schedule applies and exemptions and concessions are not available.
