Standard, contributed and third party plugins will be evaluated and added upon request. Adobe Connect This activity module allows for users to create Connect ro meetings by adding an activity. Adaptive Quiz Enables a teacher to create tests that efficiently measure the takers' abilities Attendance egister This is an activity module for tracking time spent by Students (or other users) in a Course or in a related group of Courses Booking The module is perfect for managing participants and subscription of online and offline courses and events. Certificate The Certificate module creates DF certificates or diplomas for students of the course and is completely customisable. Equella esource Upload documents from you Equella epository Face to Face Face-to-face activities are used to keep track of inperson (e.g. classroom) trainings which require advance booking. 2 age 2 Hotpot The Hotpot activity module allows teachers to administer Hot otatoes and TexToys quizzes via Moodle. HSU Forum The HSU Forum activity module is a duplication of the core forum activity but includes the ability to have anonymous posting in forums (by a setting). 2.3 version Lightbox Gallery The Lightbox resource allows you to create 'Lightbox' enabled image galleries within your Moodle course. NanoGong voice activity NanoGong can be used to record, playback and save a voice file, in a web page. The playback can be changed by the listener. The Listener's version of can be saved to the listener's hard disk. A NanoGong activity allows the student to submit their recording to the teacher. NLN Allows NLN Learning Objects to be added directly into a Moodle course with minimal effort. OU Blog The OU Blog is an alternative blog system for Moodle. It can be used in place of, or in addition to, the standard Moodle blog system. OU Wiki The OU Wiki provides a wiki based activity for users to work together in a group. naire The naire module has been reintroduced to Moodle after an absence in Moodle 2. Scheduler The Scheduler module helps you to schedule appointments with learners. Subpage Subpage module allows you to add Moodle activities onto inner page within course * OU is discontiuning in 2.8 Tab Display The tab display module allows you to setup your information in a tabbed format. This helps to clean up your course by combining several resources into Tabs. Contriubuted Turnitin Basic The Turnitin Basic module allows for assignments in Moodle with the basic suite of Turnitin features including similarity reports and grade marking. Turnitin Direct The Turnitin direct module allows for assignments in Moodle with the full suite of Turnitin features including Grade Mark and similarity reports. Assignment Online Audio Audio recorder (Flash 10.1+) submission method. ecords locally and uploads via HTT OST, so there's no need for a streaming server! Accessibility The accessibility allows for users to customise Moodle to their visual needs. It supports changing of text sizes and colour schemes. 4 age 4 Course Contents Course contents block produces a table of contents for the course - that is a list of all visible sections (topics or weeks) in the course. Clicking at one of these links will display that particular section. Course Overview on Campus Moodle block which provides all functionality of block_course_overview, provides additional filters (course category, course term and course teachers) to be used on university campuses as well as the possibility to hide courses and course news from the course list. Course Tree List This block will display all courses a user is enrolled in, within the hierarchy course categories listing Echo360 The Echo360 allows for displaying of Echo360 lecture capture within Moodle. Evasys The Evasys allows integration with the Evasys online surveys system. Formal Languages Formal languages block centralizes code for scanning and parsing of different languages. For now it is used by reg and CorrectWriting question types, but other plugins can use it as well. IL (Community) The IL allows the creation of individual learning plans to help provide learners with the opportunity to manage and track their own progress. 5 age 5 IL (Supported) The supported IL block offers support and guidance, integration, implementation and any development requests (at cost) on top of the community release. The supported release is usually two versions ahead of the community release and inclusive of new functionality developed. Maintained Mass Action This block allows the mass deletion, indentation, hiding and showing of activities and resources within sections on a particular Moodle Course. Moodletxt The Moodletxt block allows teachers and administrators to SMS/text students from within Moodle. MBS Based on the stand-alone MBS project ( this allows users to book rooms and other resources from within Moodle. anopto The anopto block allows users to view live and recorded videos from anopto, within a Moodle course. It also provides a single sign on between the two solutions. rogress Bar The rogress Bar is a timemanagement tool for students. 6 age 6 Talis Aspire This block integrates Talis Aspire with Moodle, where it will display resource list links from Talis Aspire for a given course. Quickmail Quickmail is a block that provides selective, bulk ing within courses. atched QuickScan Dyslexia Screening The block provides a link to a page containing an explanation of the QuickScan Dyslexia Screening assessment, and a button which redirects the student to the ico web service in a popup window to perform the assessment itself. You would need to register with ico to enable the QuickScan service for your organisation. eports Dashboard The aim of the reports dashboard is to provide a framework within which bespoke reports can be quickly constructed and presented within a standard "dashboard" which is in turn accessed via a block. In addition to the main dashboard of reports, this block also allows access (given the correct capability) to a control panel which contains various setting which are used by one or more of the reports. 7 age 7 Side Bar Allows the functionality of the Site main menu block to work within courses. Slideshow A block that inserts a slideshow in the header of the front page or course page. Features include customizable background colours, transition types, speeds, and size. Administration rovides a set of tools for Admins (course, category uploads & Statistics) Course Format Collapsed Topics Topic based course format with an individual 'toggle' for each topic / week except the Summary. Course Format Flex Sections Organises course content in any number of sections that can be nested. Each section can be displayed expanded or collapsed Course Format Grid A course format which hides all topic areas and creates a grid of icons with titles. You can click on the icons to bring up content in a light box display. 8 age 8 Integrations Auto Enrol Adds functionality to automatically enrol users onto a course, either as they log into your Moodle site or as they access a course. This plugin is primarily intended for use on courses which you want all users to be able to access but can also be configured for more advanced purposes. Integrations Database Extended The external database extended integration, allows for management information system data to be used within Moodle including, course creations, category creations and enrolment synchronisations. Maintained Integrations Db userrel This plugin allows you to configure automatic synchronisation of relationships between users from an external database. It is mainly used to assign arent/mentor rôle. Integration Shared secret SSO This plugin allows users to login to Moodle using a single sign on Local Analytics A local Moodle Module adding Analytics. This plugin currently supports 3 Analytics modes, iwik, Google Universal Analytics and Google Legacy Analytics. 9 age 9 Local Webservices The web services are a collection of web services intended to extend the current functionality of Moodle s core web services Maintained lagiarism Ephorus A lagiarism integration where the Ephorus plagiarism similarity reports are embedded directly within the core Moodle assignment grading system. lagiarism Turnitin V2 A plagiarism integration with Turnitin Drag and Drop onto Image A question type which allows for text and or images to be placed on top of a given image and the position of each placed item can then be to be assessed. Drag and Drop Markers A question type which allows for multiple markers to be placed on top of an image and the position of each placed marker to be assessed. Drag and Drop into Text A question type which allows the responder to drag and drop given words into blank spaces within text. Ordering The teacher provides at least three items in order and the students are presented with a shuffled list of items to order. By default, the items are displayed in a vertical list. attern Match A question type which checks a short text based response against a specified response pattern. Variable Numeric A question type which allows the use of numbers within a question, which are chosen from predefined sets and can be calculated from mathematical expressions. 11 age 11 epository Copyright Licensing Agency Limited (CLA) Data Collection A Moodle repository plugin that allows the user to add copyright information for uploaded resources to allow the Copyright Licencing Authority to collect data for copyright surveys. epository Equella A repository which allows users to access Equella content within Moodle and populate courses S epository Evernote epository to access the content of your notes from your Evernote account. epository Sky Drive A repository which allows users to access Microsoft Sky Drive content within Moodle to populate courses or submit to activities. epository lanet estream A repository which allows users to access their lanet estream resources directly within Moodle ( service). Attendance This set of plugins allows instructors to keep a log of the students enrolled on their course. The instructor setups up attendance days and time and marks students as present or absent, late or excluded. Blackboard Collaborate This set of plugins allows integration of Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing directly into Moodle through the use of an activity and a block. 12 age 12 Checklist The checklist activity allows teachers to create task lists for students to complete based upon either existing resources in Moodle or manually created items. Course Awards This set of plugins allows for students to rate their courses and the courses to be awarded medals based upon student course ratings. Kaltura This set of plugins allows access to the Kaltura Video platform from within a Moodle site. Through activities, repositories, local media and reports. Mahara This set of plugins allow for submitting Mahara pages to a Moodle assignment whilst also locking and unlocking the pages being assessed. MediaCore This set of plugins allows access to the MediaCore platform from within a Moodle site. Through being able to embed files from your MediaCore site directly within Moodle. MyDay Collabco The MyDay plugins link a Moodle environment with Shareoint by providing single sign on and aggregated information on a Shareoint dashboard. Load Impact earson Direct The earson Direct plugins integrate a Moodle environment with the MyLab / Mastering and Course Connect products.
