2 Sequence of Tasks 1. Technician to complete Provisional Daily Site Report.. Demark area using road pins and hazard bunting tape. If no breaking ground secure bunting tape to stationary objects seek assistance from site/ office. 3. Install reference beam: Hammer No. stakes into ground either side of the test pile, avoiding anchor piles, until refusal. If no breaking ground, construct No. X forms with two short pieces of scaffold, clipping together with propriety clips. Affix single long piece of scaffold tubing between stakes/ X forms and adjust as necessary. 4. Install tests equipment as per MS01a 5. Attach tarpaulin to beam/ bars avoid over-reaching situations. 6. Hammer road pins as necessary for lower half of tarpaulin and tie in position with pre-installed rope. If no breaking ground attach to secure objects seek assistance from site/ office. 7. If it is too windy, or there are other extreme weather conditions, inform office. 8. Locate compressed gas stillage. 9. Attach pressure regulator to outlet and tighten with task-specific spanner. 10. Ensure tank inlet valve is closed on remote kit and attach airline securely. 11. Slowly open tank valve on gas stillage and adjust pressure regulator as necessary. 1. Slowly open tank inlet valve on remote kit. 13. Testing to be carried out as per MS Upon completion of test, all equipment shall be removed in reverse order of building.

3 15. Technician to check air pressure on gas stillage. If less than 60Bar, inform office. 16. Close tank inlet valve on remote kit and outlet valve on gas stillage. 17. Remove airline from remote kit and remove pressure gauge from gas stillage. 18. Slowly expel air from remote equipment tank for stowage. 19. All test equipment to be packed away securely, drying/ cleaning beforehand if necessary.

Any individual with a known health problem should identify this to the Section Manager for specific assessment by the Safety Manager or Occupational Health Manager. The TWA for hazardous constituent part is Mica 3mg/m³ (as respirable fraction of aerosol) and 5mg/m³ Nuisance Dust level (respirable fraction) will not be exceeded provided that adequate ventilation is provided. 7 15. Exposure to leptospirosis (Weil s disease) 16. Contact/ Ignition Drier and Protector Assessor Name & Role 4 The naturally occurring bacteria can get into your body through cuts and scratches and through the lining of the mouth, throat and eyes after contact with infected urine or contaminated water, such as in sewers, ditches, ponds and slow-flowing rivers. Wash your hands and any contaminated clothing regularly. Always wash hands before eating, drinking or smoking. Don t touch rats or livestock with unprotected hands. Wash cuts and grazes immediately with soap and running water and cover all cuts and broken skin with waterproof plasters before and during work. Signs and symptoms start with a flu-like illness with a persistent and severe headache, which can lead to vomiting and muscle pains and ultimately to jaundice, meningitis and kidney failure. In rare cases the diseases can be fatal. If suffering these signs and symptoms, report to your doctor. Leptospirosis is much less severe if it is treated promptly.
