4 Our History 1.1. OUR HISTORY Our company was established on 7 August 2008 to provide cash and valuables in transit (CIT) and private security services with the name of Desmer Security Services Trade Company. After the contract signed with Şekerbank T.A.Ş. in February 2009 covering the cash and transit, cash processing and vaulting services, our company started to provide its services to Şekerbank T.A.Ş. At the end of 2009, our company has changed its legal entity from limited company to corporation. One year after its establishment, Desmer Security won the tender opened by Vakıflar Bankası covering its İstanbul and Trakya Region cash in transit and ATM replenishment operations. One of the important developments for our company in 2010 was that Desmer started to provide physical security services to all branch offices of Şekerbank TAŞ. In order to fulfill physical security services, we have added 320 new private security guards to our staff. Electronic Security System, which has up to subscriber capacity, started its services in December In 2013, Desmer has won the CIT tender of Vakıfbank T.A.O for the regions Central Anatolia, Black Sea, East and Southeast Anatolia and Mediterranean. As a result of growing service network and types of services offered, today Desmer has 40 cash center, around 200 armored car fleet and personnel all around Turkey. 4

6 Departments 2.1. DEPARTMENTS C.I.T. (Cash and Valuables in Transit) Managing the transfer operations and storage of cash and valuables with its armored vehicles fleet of more than 200 vehicles, located at 40 different points of Turkey,. Desmer is enlarging its operation network every day. We provide our secure transportation services accompanied by qualified security guards and armored vehicles equipped with the most recent security technology. We also offer cash collecting, counting, sorting and vaulting services in which all processes are instantly recorded with the support of advanced equipments and experienced staff. Replenishment and collection processes of the ATM, JSM, OSM and KIOSK machines, first line maintenance operations (FLM) and accompaniment to the second line maintenance operations are also within the activity range of our CIT department. All these operations are monitored by a software developed by our company. Collections and deliveries are instantly recorded via the hand terminals. In this way, clients can follow the transportation of their goods on online basis. Agreements can also be done within this system. 6

10 ATM Services Jewelry Industry Provides services of picking up the jewelry from and address and transport to another address securely via highway or airway within the limits of the insurance. Entertainment and Sport Activities Exhibitions, fairs, festivals, concerts are among the locations where high amount of cash accumulates. Such kinds of locations are included inside high risk category. Desmer collects the cash accumulated at those kinds of points taking all kinds of precautions and minimizing the risk and transfers the collected cash to the Bank branch or one of its cash centers. ATM SERVICES ATM services are one of the main services of the banks and finance companies which have to work at high efficiencies. However, operational costs of such services are quite high for banks. Desmer realizes all ATM Replenishment, maintenance, repair work with the support of armored cars and qualified support team. In this way, banks and finance companies minimize their risks and costs, increase their efficiency by focusing on their core business. 10

11 ATM Services ATM Cash Deposit ATM cassettes prepared by central cash points or cash centers are taken to the ATM's with armored vehicles under strict security precautions. Cash is deposited to the ATM. If or when required, cash deposited to the ATM's are collected. Cash collected from the ATM's are counted at our cash centers in front of the cameras and report sent to the client electronically. Or the cash that comes back from the ATM is delivered to the central cash points of the bank/finance company. 12 Cash Processing CASH PROCESSING All cash and valuables collected from the bank branches, corporate customers, retail customers, sports competitions, concerts, fairs etc are taken to the cash centers via our secure armored vehicles. At the cash processing centers, we do the following operations: Counting Sorting (fake, worn-out) Preparing banknotes in accordance with the standards (ATM, Central Bank etc) Bundling, baling, taping operations Getting the serial numbers of the banknotes Reconciliation Prepare cash suitable for the ATM cassettes 12

13 Vaulting VAULTING Cash and valuables collected from different points are processed and kept securely at the Desmer Cash Centers according to the requirements of the clients. The amounts kept in the vaults are charged to the clients account. As per the request of the client, the cash or valuables are delivered to the client via armored vehicles any time the client requests. OPERATIONAL INFORMATION Transportation of the cash is done with the secure containers, which are accepted in return for receipt of payment. Speed and location information of all vehicles are instantly monitored from our Control Center. 13

14 Physical Security PHYSICAL SECURITY SERVICES 5188 numbered Law titled Law on Private Security Services entered into force on April 26th, This law defines the conditions and types of private security requirements of the companies and individuals in their personal property. Personal property security, whose importance and function is growing every day, is realized by private security guards and in this way lessen the burden on law enforcement officers. 14

16 Electronic Security Services ELECTRONIC SECURITY SERVICES Electronic Security Center, responds to CCTV system activations 24 hours a day, has been designed up to subscriber and the capacity can be expanded even more. The receivers that we use have the capability to use GPRS, PTSN and TCP/IP communication systems. All the hardware used in the system has back up and therefore work non-stop basis. The software used in this system is the one commonly used worldwide in the alarm monitoring business. All the messages transmitted to the receivers from the alarm panels are immediately transferred to the operator screens. Operators carries out the required action according to the type and significance of the message. Technical service personnel is responsible for installation, maintenance and serving. Any problems that may occur are immediately treated by our technician team. Headquartered in Ankara office, Technical Services has branch offices in İstanbul and İzmir. Currently, we are providing active services to Şekerbank branch offices, ATMs, premises and subsidiaries. Our technicians provide a wide range of services ranging from IP and analog camera installation to door pass system; from watchmen tour system to personal monitoring systems and from building security to risk projects and consulting. DESMER E.R.P. SYSTEM All those services are instantly monitored via a software developed by our company; and all collections and deliveries are recorded via hand terminals on online basis. In this respect, our clients has the opportunity to follow the movements of their materials and do the agreements over the system. ATM services are also monitored by the system on online basis and any failure is directly notified to the system. 16
