4 Social Development and Gender Equality Policies Center (SOGEP) aims for the strengthened continuity of the struggle against the discriminative practices and violation of rights experienced by women. SOGEP is aware of the fact that different forms of discrimination support each other and describes its main goal as struggling with every form of discrimination. SOGEP pays attention to the sustainability of the struggle against discrimination. As a result, it performs its work for the strengthened continuity of the struggle against gender discrimination in Turkey. The Center, elementarily aims for the improvement of the social development and gender equality policies in the direction of the demands of non-governmental organizations and public opinion. At the same time, it aims to present lobbying and policy making apparatuses to NGO s in the frame of their field of advocacy or work. Erkek Muhabbeti (Men Talk) has been established by young men under the umbrella of SOGEP in order to engagement of men to struggle against sexism and heteronormatity. We have founded Men Talk in Since then we have organized Men Questioning Their Masculine Agency workshops, counciousness raising meetings, beside we have prepared and spread written and visual documents on masculinity. 2
