Enjoying unprecedented industry support, the College has developed etensive programming aligned with industry's needs and future directions in the economy. Instrumentation T08 Instrumentation Control Engineering Technician Instrumentation Control Engineering Technology 104 Instrumentation Control is a skill set in high demand by the local chemical and refining industries, as well as by all process-based industries in the province. Technology Miscellaneous T19 Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training Fire Science Technology 136 With a unique,modern, new facility, the College provides an eceptional learning environment where students in the fire science programs participate in a complete, on the ground learning eperience in the field of study. From the onsite firehall, funnctioning burn tower, to the industrial fire suppression props, the College is a leader in cutting-edge fire science education. Social Services A17 Social Service Worker Autism and Behavioural Science Developmental Services Worker A14 Developmental Service Worker Community Integration Through Cooperative Education Complimented by strong linkages and partnerships with a broad range of community agencies, these two waitlisted programs align strategically with the College's focus on social justice. The College offers two programs within this area, which are both consistently waitlisted. The DSW program prepares individuals to support those with developmental disabilities. The College was one of the first in the Province to offer CICE, promoting access and academic success for those with a significant learning challenges.

The Business suite of programs attracts a diverse range of students, both domestic and international Technology Miscellaneous T19 Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training Fire Science Technology Child and Youth Worker A13 Child and Youth Worker Nursing Related H04 Bachelor of Science Nursing Practical Nursing Personal Support Worker - Pre-Practical Nursing Pathway Personal Support Worker Both programs, offered by the College, are highly competitive. The Paramedic program is accredited by the Canadian Medical Association, which allows for national portability of the credential as well as recognition of the program by the Canadian Forces. The CDA program is recognized by the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association. Consistent with the social services sector, the College has etensive community agency partnerships and linkages that ensure students receive an enriching field placement eperience aligned with a the strong theoretical foundation. This program is also very popular and typically waitlisted. Healthcare is a major employer within the region and the College plays an integral role in responding to the health human resource needs of the community. The programs that fall within this area are consistently waitlisted.
3 Appendi 3: Current Areas of Program Strength Law and Security A10 Protection, Security and Investigation Police Foundations Contempary Law Enforcement and Justice Institutional Program Strenghts ( ) 185 Responsive to the emerging needs of public safety agencies and the direction of the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the College delivers programming with a focus on inter-operability. Students are offered a range of credentials that provide opportunity to pursue pathways to degree completion, which is aligned with future employer demands.
4 as a Power T10 / Mechanical Bioindustrial Technology-Ontario College Advanced Diploma Bioindustrial Technician - Ontario College Diploma Electromechanical Engineering Technology - Ontario College Advanced Diploma Lambton College has a proven track record of providing industry relevant credentials. Sarnia- Lambton is becoming a major hub of bio-based industrial process companies. Several companies have already initiated research or production operations in the area. In response, the College has developed the Bioindustrial Technology Ontario College Advanced Diploma. This new unique credential will provide students with the skills and knowledge required for the operation of bioindustrial processes.
5 as a Health-Miscellaneous H Advanced Care Paramedic, Ontario College Graduate Certificate With a strong foundation as a provider of quality paramedic education, the College will offer primary care paramedics the opportunity to advance to this epanded role. This offering is consistent with the College's focus on advancing the range of post-entry to practice development offerings. Construction of the proposed Lambton College Centre for Health Education and Sustainable Care will significantly cnotribute to the learning eperience for students in both current and proposed programs. Community Mental Health, Ontario College Graduate Certificate Following etensive consultation with employers and other community stakeholders, the College will offer a credential to upskill working community services and health agency professionals in the area of mental health. Based on community feedback, the College is confident that there is significant demand for such a credential.
6 as a Nursing Related H Bachelor of Science in Nursing - College degree (pending policy change) or with collaborative University partner Currently Lambton College offers 5 semesters of the full 8 semester BScN program in collaboration with the University of Windsor. The goal of the College is to offer all four years of the program on campus and eliminate the need for students to transfer to the University. Construction of the proposed Lambton College Centre for Health Education and Sustainable Care will significantly cnotribute to the learning eperience for students in both current and proposed programs. Healthcare Leadership in Nursing, Ontario College Graduate Certificate Nursing Informatics and Patient Care Analytics, Leveraging eisting strength in the delivery of nursing education, the College is committed to responding to the post-graduate education needs of nursing professionals practicing in a variety of settings. Critical Care Nursing, Ontario College Graduate Certificate
7 as a Law and Security A Aboriginal Social Justice, Ontario College Certificate Public Safety, Ontario College diploma Intelligence and Analytics, Ontario College Graduate Certificate Intelligence and Analytics-Business, Ontario College Graduate Certificate Responding to the learning needs of the aboriginal community, this entry level program will provide the necessary preparation for individuals to pursue a post-secondary program in the area of public safety. As the result of consultation with public safety employers, the College has created the the Public Safety diploma program to replace the dated Protection, Security and Investigtion program. This new program incorporates advances in the sector and is aligned with employer interest. Designed for those with a background in Public Safety, this program prepares the graduate to practice advanced investigation techniques which incorporate the use of analytics. This stream of the Intelligence and Analytics Grad Certificate shares some curriculum, with a focus on analytics from a corporate security and marketing perspective.
