He has delivered numerous presentations to groups including hygienist, Realtors, property management professionals, remediation contractors, builders and attorneys. Mr. Kovar serves as a scientific advisor/consultant for insurance companies on major loss claims and provides expert testimony, pre-trial forensic case development and document review/commentary for attorneys in high-profile litigation. Presently, Mr. Kovar is completing numerous indoor environmental research manuscripts for publication in scientific peer review journals and actively participates on several environmental boards and committees writing indoor environmental national standards and reviewing/approving IAQ educational courses which have been submitted to the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Present Safeguard EnviroGroup, Inc. 4 2005 Present Kovar Companies, Inc. KCI Microbiology Laboratory President and CEO In 2005, Mr. Kovar along with long time colleague Dr. P. Chakravarty, PhD, Senior Microbiologist, founded KCI Microbiology Laboratory serving the microbial analytical needs of Safeguard EnviroGroup and hundreds of independent hygienist. With emphasis on customer service, KCI was one of the first laboratories in the region to institute same day results as a standard procedure. In 2007, in response to the growing needs of Safeguard EnviroGroup, KCI Microbiology Laboratory became a division of Safeguard and no longer served independent hygienist Present Kovar Companies, Inc. KCI Center for Environmental Research President and CEO KCI, a multi-disciplined research corporation, was founded by Mr. Kovar in Through research and education, KCI scientists have collaborated with other indoor environmental professionals and private sector partners to address important indoor environmental issues. KCI Center for Environmental Research conducts research, development and technology pursuing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges. Most recently, KCI developed the KCI Talley Counter; a computer based software program resolving laboratory technical issues associated with the mechanical input of valuable data.
