7 Lessons Learned Keys to a Successful Proposal Follow the RFO / RFP instructions! Start process early Complete all steps on forms Make sure to submit on time Expect a robust solicitation response Submit a competitively priced offer Submit a complete offer Document evidence of a viable project Identify any unique opportunities or issues Page: 6

11 SCE s Supplier Diversity Program CPUC -- General Order 156 Guidelines require a verifiable program to increase DBE procurement in all categories. Percentage of spend with Prime DBEs is reported and with Subcontractor DBEs is included in the narrative. Outreach and development programs implemented to recruit and inform DBEs of procurement opportunities. Program Objectives To increase opportunities for DBEs to compete for SCE s business, through prime contracting and subcontracting.
