12 Project Description 6.7MW Solar PV Farm connected to PG&E Utility Grid Brownfields to Greenfields (closed landfill disposal site) 80 acres of land coverage; approximately 25,000 solar panels Avoidance of 60,000 lbs. of Smog (NOx); 52,000 lbs. Acid Rain (SO2); 80 million lbs. of Carbon Emissions (CO2) Equivalent to removing 7,500 cars; planting 12,000 acres of trees and providing 3,200 homes of electrical power Project Costs: $26-30M before rebates, grants, ITC Financed by combination of ARRA Grants, Debt Financing, Private Equity Capital 12
13 Project Site: The Napa Solar Farm is located on an 80-acre closed sanitary landfill site owned by the Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority, a governmental entity comprised of the Cities of Napa, Vallejo, & American Canyon and the County of Napa and operating under a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA). The Project Site is located in the unincorporated area of Napa County adjacent to the City of American Canyon city limits, approximately 45 miles north of San Francisco, California. 13
