The institute is presently housed at B.V.Patel PERD Centre, Ahmedabad. Permanent campus is being established in Gandhinagar. The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced education and research in pharmaceutical sciences and is looking for teaching and non teaching staff of high degree of knowledge and willing to contribute in building this institute as one of the best centers of excellence. Presently the Institute is running M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D Programmes and planning to expand further. 2 ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Medical devices ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation engineering with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 8 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in Bioelectronics/Bioinstrumentation/Diagnostics and Biomaterials for Medical Devices in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory / course development and / or other recognized relevant professional activities such as principal investigator of major research projects. Age: Maximum 50 Years as on last date of application Natural Products Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M. Pharm/M.S. Pharm) in Pharmacognosy / Phytochemistry / Natural Products with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 8 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in separation techniques, thermodynamics, molecular cytogenetics, infectious diseases, mutations and mutagenesis, in silico structure elucidation, molecular cell biology, protein engineering and bioinformatics in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory / course development and / or other recognized relevant professional activities such as principal investigator of major research projects. Age: Maximum 50 Years as on last date of application ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: (i) Biotechnology Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S. Pharm ) in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in downstream processing, biochemical engineering, enzymology, immunology, cell signaling, protein purification and high throughput screening excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work.

3 (ii) Medical Devices Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation engineering/ Material Science and Engineering with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in Bioelectronics/Bioinstrumentation/Diagnostics excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work. (iii) Pharmaceutical Analysis Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.Sc/M.S Pharm /M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Analytical Chemistry/ Bioanalytical Chemistry with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in development and validation of analytical / bioanalytical methods for various drug substances and products/biological samples, degradation pathways and synthesis / characterization of organic molecules, stability and stress studies excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work. Candidates should be familiar with regulatory guidelines like ICH, FDA, MHRA, WHO, GMP, GLP etc. (iv) Pharmaceutics Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.S Pharm / M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Technology formulations with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in pharmaceutical product development, novel and or targeted drug delivery systems, solid state characterization, analytical and bioanalytical techniques etc. excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work. (v) Pharmacology & Toxicology Qualification: Ph. D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.S Pharm / M.Pharm) in Pharmacology & Toxicology with a very good academic record throughout. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience in field of diabetes and cancer with expertise in current molecular and cellular techniques, including recombinant DNA technologies, RNA and protein analysis, cell culture histology excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D, with a minimum of three publications out of their thesis work.

4 Scientific Officer: Qualification: MSc with 55% marks / M.Tech with 55% marks/ Ph.D Experience: 10 Years of experience in management of instrumentation Lab in a research Institute /University of repute and thorough knowledge of sophisticated spectroscopic/analytical instruments e.g HPLC, NMR, MS, UV, TR, GC, LC as per the required specialization. Or In case of M. Tech, 9 Years of experience in management of instrumentation of Lab in a research Institute /University of repute and thorough knowledge of sophisticated instruments e.g NMR, MS, UV, TR, GC, LC etc. Finance Officer: Qualification: Master Degree with Commerce or Business Administration (Finance) with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Experience: At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor with 08 years in Associate Professor in AGP Rs. 9000/- along with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in Research Establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 08 years as Deputy Registrar in Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- or above or an equivalent post with experience in Finance and Accounts. Desirable Qualification - Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications like CA /ICWA/SAS and working experience of Budgeting & Financial Accounting etc. in Autonomous bodies/university/research Institutions. Good working knowledge of rules & regulations of Central Universities, R&D institutions relating to accounts/audit, service conditions and related financial matters. Deputy Registrar (Finance & accounts): Qualification: A post graduate degree in commerce/economics from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Experience: 12 years of experience in dealing with finances and accounts in Research institute/university including 5 years as Assistant Registrar. Desirable: Experience in computer based financial management and accounting, Financial Management degree/diploma. System Engineer Qualification: Masters Degree in computer science/m.e/ M Tech with 55% marks or equivalent grade.

5 Experience: 10 years in management of computer networking and thorough knowledge of mainframe computer hardware /software. Or With Ph.D, 5 years of experience in management of computer networking and thorough knowledge of mainframe computer hardware /software. Desirable: Knowledge of latest programming languages. Store and Purchase Officer: Qualification: A post graduate with at least 55% Marks or equivalent grade. Experience: 10 years in handling the stores and purchase of scientific institute/university Desirable: Material management degree/diploma and /or conversant with import procedure, inventory control and experience in computers and data entry operations.. PA to Director: Qualification: Graduate with 55% marks or equivalent grade. Experience: 5 years of experience as Assistant Gr-III or equivalent in a University/IITs/Research Institute with good communication and computer skills. The maximum age limit and eligibility conditions shall be counted as on closing date for receipt of applications. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to place reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interview. 3.
