3 What is NeDopusti? A civil society project, launched in Russia in December 2008 by ROCIT and NGO Soprotivlenye Main aims: -To bring digital advantages into the process of combating child trafficking, child exploitation and child abduction; -To prevent illegal use of digital technologies for child abduction, trafficking and exploitation.
4 Development history elaboration and introduction of online services to report and takedown child sexual exploitation scenes; 2009 introduction of a group of services to combat violence against children and child exploitation 2011 introduction of services to combat child abduction and to support reporting and searching of missing and trafficked children; 2012 prototype of Russian National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children with the inclusion of services and tools on child trafficking\abduction and child exploitation (for victim identification, search and post-recovery rehabilitation)

7 Missing and trafficked children Services provided by NeDopusti! include: -Missing children database; -Reporting tool for missing children cases; -Swift alert tool (in partnership with online- and offline industry and civil society); -Training for civil volunteers and LEAs; -Awareness-raising, consulting; -Technical tools for report assessment, victim identification, field search coordination; -Link with ICMEC to prevent transnational trafficking
8 Missing child file - Brings together all information about missing child; - Provides updates on search process; - Reporting form requires providing personal data of reporter for LEA purposes; - Accessible from any website page
9 Some of the software tools and technologies Field search coordination tool for LEA and volunteers; Annual analyst trainings provided by INHOPE; Age progression technology (allows to update the image of a child missing more than two years to his present appearance) not practiced by anyone else in Russia except NeDopusti
10 Actions against child abuse and violence Awareness-raising (information and advices) online and offline: -Dissemination of information (articles, brochures, videos, etc.); -Popular events for children and youth, parents, teachers, social workers; -Trainings and lessons on public and online safety; Online consulting and rehabilitation (with participation in all- Russian ChildHelpLine); Taking anonymous reports about online content with child abuse and violence, assessing it and taking it down (Hotline)

19 Global Missing Children s Network GMCN is a network of nodes from different countries exchanging information about missing children for their effective search 23 nodes present including UK, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Australia, South Korea, Mexico, etc. Russia (NeDopusti) joined GMCN in 2012 Industry-supported (grants from Motorola, etc.) Nodes run national databases with missing children, aid LEAs in searching kids, disseminate information, take down child abuse content, run databases of such content, coordinate volunteers
20 At Present: All-Russian database of missing children; More than websites and pages with illegal content closed; Helpline processed queries; International cooperation on CSAM takedown and information exchange on trafficked children; Awareness-raising events, including countrywide-known Safer Internet Day and International Missing Children Day; Official prototype of Russian National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children under National Child Welfare Strategy; Partnership with civil society volunteers covering almost all territory of Russia
