1 International Laboratory Instabili Vaganti 2013/2014 directed by Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola 22nd October rd May 2014 LIV Performing Arts Centre Bologna, Italy Instabili Vaganti Laboratory 2013/14 - International theatre training programme The Laboratory is a path for higher education and research in the performing arts, created by Instabili Vaganti and open to performers from all over the world. The project is conceived by Anna Dora Dorno, director, pedagogue and actress and Nicola Pianzola, training director and actor of Instabili Vaganti. The aim is to create a permanent laboratory, source of new ideas and research that could support Instabili Vaganti Theatre Company in their projects. The practical work involves a daily physical and vocal training based on the rhythm, the space, on the searching for a voice in accordance with the organic body and on the study of different qualities of an acting body and its energy spectrum. The training is followed by an artistic creation process consisting of research on dramaturgy, composition and montage of physical and vocal actions, in which the performer has the possibility to be in dialogue with other artistic media: live video, photos, installations, music. The starting point of this creative process is the sharing of materials and proposals that come from every participant of the laboratory and their consecutive development through individual and collective work. The Laboratory takes place at LIV Performing Arts Centre. 2 Instabili Vaganti Experimental Theatre Founded in 2004 by Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola, the theatre company Instabili Vaganti founds its research on the will to investigate theatre as a form of total art and the actor on its entirety and on the experimentation of contemporary languages, through collaborations with musicians, video-makers and visual artists. The company works at international level in the creation and the production of performances, in the direction of projects, workshops and high education programme in performing arts. Anna Dora Dorno Director - Actress - Performer Theatre pedagogue She has given workshops for actors all over the world and she has led work sessions on the actor s physical and vocal training at the Atelier of the Grotowski Institute in Poland, at the International Workshop Festival and in the BIPAF Busan Performing Arts Festival in S. Korea, and within the VIII International meeting of national Drama schools in Mexico City promoted by ORMACC UNESCO - ITI. Furthermore, she taught theatre and gave lectures in many universities. Those worth mentioning are Bologna University theatre department, University of Kent in England, Kyungsung University in S.Korea, Babeş-Bolyai in Romania, UNAM in Mexico. She has ideated and directed international theatre research projects leading work sessions with professional performers of different nationalities in different countries. In 2004 she founded the theatre company Instabili Vaganti and she won the special award of the Jury at the VI International Festival of Theatre and Visual Arts Zdarzenia in Poland for the direction of her first performance Avan Lulu. She worked for Bauhaus foundation of Dessau directing the performance NO-Body for the X Farb fest, and for Old Vic Theatre of London for the direction of Running in the Tunnels. Nicola Pianzola Actor Performer - Training director Theatre pedagogue Nicola Pianzola, performer, training director and theatre pedagogue has graduated at the Nouveau Cirque school of Bologna and Contemporary Circus School in Turin. His artistic training took shape whilst working in Poland with Zygmunt Molik and Teatr Piesn Kozla, in Denmark with Odin Teatret, in Brazil with Augusto Omolù, in Italy with Kataklò Athletic dance theatre. He worked with Agustin Leteler (Chile), Els Comediantes (Spain) and with Laboratorio Permanente of Domenico Castaldo and Pippo Delbono (Italy). He has created and led the international theatre project LENZ supported by Theater Fabrik Sachesn of Leipzig, Old Vic theatre of London, International Shakespeare festival of Yerevan. As theatre pedagogue is specialized in physical training and acrobatics for actors and he has taught these disciplines and given lectures at the University of Bologna, at the Bauhaus Foundation in Germany, at the British Grotowski project in England, at the Grotowski Institute in Poland, at the Hooyong Performing Arts centre in Korea, at the UNAM in Mexico. He won the DAMS Award for his research and experience in theatre with actors with handicap.

L acconto verrà restituito solo in caso di annullamento del laboratorio. Il restante importo verrà saldato in due rate come da calendario. Il candidato può scegliere di trasferire direttamente sul conto indicato l intero importo del workshop anziché solo l acconto nel caso preferisse saldare subito la quota di iscrizione per motivi personali (comodità, praticità, valuta etc.) Una tessera assicurativa verrà compilata dal candidato al momento dell iscrizione garantendogli una copertura assicurativa. La tessera non comporterà ulteriori costi ma sarà a carico dell organizzazione.
