3 DiversityWeb The DiversityWeb staff is a group of dedicated higher education professionals devoted to connecting, amplifying and advancing campus diversity work throughout postsecondary education. The DiversityWeb project is housed within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Global Initiatives at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Global Initiatives (DEGI) sees diversity and global knowledge as essential elements of any effort to foster civic engagement among today's college students. To support those goals, the office helps colleges and universities to establish diversity as a comprehensive institutional commitment and educational priority. Posting an ad on this website does not require a membership and is free. They welcome job announcements with an explicit focus on diversity, multiculturalism, area studies, global education, etc. within the higher education arena. They also encourage announcements from institutions that are committed to institution-wide diversity, serve underrepresented student populations, or have a significant number of students from underserved communities. They recognize that some readers would like to post job announcements that are not specifically related to higher education in order to attract a wide range of prospective candidates, but unfortunately, they cannot accommodate these requests on Diversity Web. HigherEdJobs.com Today, HigherEdJobs.com is the leading source for jobs and career information in academia. During 2009, more than 2,670 colleges and universities posted over 55,090 faculty, administrative and executive job postings to the company's web site. And, HigherEdJobs.com is now visited over 1.8 million times a month by 729,000 people. Post a single job for $170 for up to 60 days with unlimited text, appears in 1-2 business hours. Post an unlimited number of faculty, administrative, and executive jobs for an entire campus (or units within a campus). Post, edit, or remove positions at your convenience and track your positions results in real time. The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine (H/O) For 20 years, The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine has been a top information news source and the sole Hispanic educational magazine for the higher education community, and those involved in running our institutions of higher learning. Published biweekly, except in June, July and August, when we are on a summer schedule as outlined in our rate card, H/O covers events, news, and ongoing trends that affect our multicultural institutions of the 21st century. H/O reaches a large minority print audience with an average pass along of nearly 50,000 readers. As of September 2008, H/O also has a selection of the print articles online. Each issue brings forth the significance of communication in academic circles, the importance of the positive learning experience, role models, and the contribution of 3 of 8

4 both Hispanic and non-hispanic writers with constructive observations on policies and procedures in academia. All ads placed in the magazine are also placed on the Web site under Employment & Other Opportunities for six weeks, free of charge, giving you double exposure for your ad. H/O also has web only package availability, and single web postings for those immediate needs. Inside Higher Ed Inside Higher Ed is the online source for news, opinion and jobs for all of higher education. Inside Higher Ed includes breaking news and feature stories, provocative daily commentary, areas for comment on every article, practical career columns, and a powerful suite of tools to help higher education professionals get jobs and colleges identify and hire employees. Cost of posting an ad is $175 (30 days), $310 (60 days), $395 (90 days), and 10 posting package for $1, INSIGHT Into Diversity (formerly Affirmative Action Register) For 35 years, INSIGHT Into Diversity (formerly Affirmative Action Register) has been connecting diverse professionals with institutions and businesses that embrace a workforce that reflects our world. Created as a national recruitment publication, INSIGHT Into Diversity was originally intended to help employers comply with equal opportunity employment legislation. These fields include higher education, healthcare, government and business. There is no requirement for membership and no space limits for online ads. Unlimited postings for one year are offered for $5,875 and six months for $3,450. Job packs expire 180 days from date of purchase. All postings associated with job packs are 30-day postings. The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education believe that providing racial statistics, on an institution-by-institution basis, appears to have considerable competitive force in persuading American colleges and universities to more fully integrate their campuses. The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education provides a variety of examples of major institutions that have leapt ahead of their peers in such matters as black scholarship awards, tenure appointments, postgraduate degree awards, administrative hirings, and in conferring other positions of academic power and authority on African Americans. However, once more, not 4 of 8

5 much happens in lagging institutions unless all these gains and shortfalls are widely publicized and known throughout academic circles. In culling out and publishing a wide-ranging collection of racial statistics on America's colleges and universities, we do not in any way see racism lurking under every set of differing figures. Our purpose is simply to show major racial imbalances and leave competitive markets and other nonlegislative forces to operate on the information provided. No membership required to post advertisements. Advertisements will appear online for 60 days and are subject to availability. Ads must meet the 500-word limit. No credit cards. The fee for each ad is $ LatinosinHigherEd.com LatinosinHigherEd.com is the first Latino professional employment web site designed specifically for the higher education community. It was launched in response to a growing concern about the need to promote career opportunities in higher education for the growing Latino population. Post one position for 90 days and access educators and administrators throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Internationally for $150. To advertise, fill out and fax a job recruitment form on the website. National Society of Black Engineers The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), with more than 35,700 members, is one of the largest student-governed organizations in the country. Founded in 1975, NSBE now includes more than 450 College, Pre-College, and Technical Professional/Alumni chapters in the United States and abroad. NSBE s mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." Employers can create or paste an existing electronic copy of job posting to their job posting system. Search criteria such as Job Location, Job Industry, Job Category, etc. can be selected to help applicants quickly identify jobs that meet their interests. Employers will enter a destination address or website where job candidates will apply directly. Within hours after submission, the posting will be reviewed for approval. Once approved, a notification that includes a quick link to the job posting is then sent to the employer. All approved job postings are visible to NSBE members for 60 days and the system keeps track of how many applicants review a job posting. A single job posting costs $ Tribal College Journal On behalf of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium's member tribal colleges and universities, they provide information for everyone interested in American Indian higher education. Their culture-based publication addresses subjects important to the future of 5 of 8
