2 Faculty Craig Moss, Director of Corporate Programs and Training at Social Accountability International (SAI), is a leading expert on improving social compliance in a company and their supply chain. Pulling from his background in international business development and corporate social responsibility, Craig led the development of the Social Fingerprint Program, a pragmatic process-based rating system and tools that focus on measuring and improving social performance. At SAI, Craig wrote Measuring and Improving Labor Standards Performance for the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and Implementing a Socially Responsible Supply Chain for Social Accountability International (SAI). As Director of Corporate Programs & Training at SAI, Craig develops and manages programs to assist Global Fortune 1000 companies with the continual improvement of social performance in their supply chain. Craig oversees SAI training for auditors, suppliers and buyers on social compliance in the supply chain, the SA8000 standard and other corporate and industry codes. Craig has extensive experience in international business and economic development, with a focus on export development from emerging markets to the US. He has worked on over 3,000 international business development projects in 50 countries. These projects spanned numerous industries and often focused on working with small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). Craig has developed and managed innovative research-based export promotion, investment attraction and supplier development programs. Craig has written and spoken extensively on corporate social responsibility, export development and international business topics. Mohamed El-Kalla, is a specialist on private sector sustainable development, educational and BOP investments, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility. A graduate of the American University in Cairo, Majored in Political Science with a specialization in international law and Minor in development studies; Started his career in UNHCR, moving on to UNV, UNRC, and UNDP where he supported the foundation of the Global Compact Network in Egypt, and supported other countries around the MENA region; Mr. El-Kalla is responsible for the creation and management of more than 60 developmental projects and partnerships involving private sector including the set up of the Egyptian Responsibility center and the Center for Transparency at the Ministry of Investment; He is also currently managing the first established CSR and Corporate Sustainability consultancies in Egypt. Mr. El-Kalla is the managing director of Cairo for Investment and Development, currently Egypt s biggest investor in the area of private education. Mr. El-Kalla co- authored and supported the formulation of various CSR related publications; among these are the Business solutions for Human development Report, the Guide to Corporate Volunteerism, the Egypt BOP Market, and over than 20 sustainability reports for leading companies and multinationals in the region. Mr. El Kalla have Co-organized and developed various key public awareness events in Egypt on relevant issue to climate change and corporate sustainability hosting a number of world renowned figures like President Clinton, VP Al Gore and global economist Jeffery Sacks. In addition, Mr. El-Kalla have trained and lectured on the topics of BOP, CSR and businesses sustainability in more than 25 countries through different forums and related networks.

5 Application Admissions Criteria: Selective enrollment of the most qualified and diverse group enhances the overall learning experience. The Admission Committee looks for applicants who have management responsibilities with diverse skills and experience. In seeking executives with demonstrated promise, the Admission Committee takes into account the candidate s organizational level, management experience, career goals and ability to contribute to the program. The Admission Committee may require a telephone or personal interview as part of the admission process. Language: This course is taught in English and there is a considerable amount of reading material, (e.g. case studies and articles). Moreover, participants are required to actively participate in the classroom and in smaller study group discussions on a daily basis. Proven proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for the completion of the assignments and the engagement in fast moving discussions. Certificate: Certificates are awarded upon the successful completion of the Program. Participants must have attended at least 80% of the program to receive the certificate.
