3 Scope The purpose of this document is to describe how to install and use Go2Group CRM Confluence plugin. Overview The Go2Group Confluence SalesForce.com Free Connector allows Confluence users to view information from Salesforce or SugarCRM, allowing key customer information to be accessible immediately. By providing a synching mechanism between different teams, Go2Group helps keep customer management processes flowing by providing these users the information needed to make timely decisions. The information typically displayed would be contact information for a specific customer. For example: Contact Phone John Eisner john.eisner@acme.com Tom Richards tom.richards@acme.com This products works hand-in-hand with our Free JIRA CRM Plugin which connects JIRA with SalesForce.com or SugarCRM and is located at New features - No configuration file required - Install from Confluence administration console ( no need to restart Confluence ) - Easy to switch between Salesforce and SugarCRM - Easy to change CRM account - Allow user to specify which fields, maximum of rows to display, also support displaying table in horizontal or vertical direction Go2Group Confluence CRM Plugin User Guide 3
4 Prerequisites The Go2Group CRM Confluence Plugin supports the following Confluence 3.5.x, 4.0.x, 4.1.x, 4.2 Salesforce SugarCRM Installation Install from Confluence administration console Go to Confluence administration console -> Plugins choose [install] tab Figure 1 Install screen Choose "Upload plugin" then browse to the location the jar file Figure 2 Upload plugin Go2Group Confluence CRM Plugin User Guide 4
5 Once you sucessfully installed the plugin, it can be seen on the Administration Console as shown below Figure 3 Co2Group CRM plugin configuration menu Go2Group Confluence CRM Plugin User Guide 5
6 Plugin Configuration License Go to Go2Group CRM plugin on the left side of Administration console, click on "License" link and provide a valid license key Configure plugin Figure 4 validate license Define type of CRM System and authenticate CRM credentials on the configuration screen Figure 5 Validate CRM credentials Go2Group Confluence CRM Plugin User Guide 6
7 CRM Type (required) :Select support CRM systems, Salesforce or SugarCrm. Username: the name of the CRM user used for communications Password: the password of the CRM user used for communications SugarCRM login path: the url of the SugarCRM system (the plugin knows the default url for salesforce but the SugarCrm url must be specified). After providing a valid license key and configuring, you would see a success alert. This completes plugin install and configuration it's ready to be used. 8 Macro parameters Figure 8 Macro parameters CRM Record: specify which record to display, default record is account The plugin supports Salesforce account, contact, lead, opportunity, case, campaign, solution, product2 records and SugarCRM account, contact, lead, opportunity, case, campaign, bug Where clause: selection criteria Ex: id=1234 Record fields: specify which fields of records to display, if it is not specified the plugin will use the following default fields account=id,name, Phone, BillingStreet, BillingCity, BillingState, BillingPostalCode, BillingCountry contact=id,firstname, LastName, Phone, lead=id,firstname, LastName, Phone, opportunity=id,description, Probability, Name, NextStep case=id,subject campaign=id,name solution=id,solutionname,solutionnote product2=id,name,description,productcode bug= bug_number,name,description,status,resolution,priority Direction: record layout, the plugin allows to display the record in hirizontal or vertical direction, default is horizontal layout Max rows: the maximum of returning rows, default is 10 Go2Group Confluence CRM Plugin User Guide 8
