2 Dear Friends and Colleagues, We are delighted to welcome you to Florence for the 1st edition of FLOREtina meeting on December The main topics include both medical and surgical retina diseases. Innovations in imaging, diagnostic techniques and different treatment approaches will be the focus of the discussion. Scientific program comprises plenary sessions with debates and panel discussions, delegates from all over the world will be involved in the meeting with televoting system. On Friday and Saturday morning, during live surgery from University Hospital of Florence, the surgeons will show new surgical techniques, new machines as well as how to operate them to achieve the best results both in routine and complicated retina surgery cases.
