Normally the elimination of odours and filtration of particles are done with parallel methods. The drugs are based on predacious fungi that destroy nematodes. The proposed drugs kill up to 80% of parasites, being harmless for animals and plants. Consequently, loss of cattle is reduced, fertility of chicken/ducks and milk yield increase, soil fertility is improved. The company is looking for partners for promotion and commercialisation of drugs. Innovative Elbow Check Valves System (Ref: 08 PL 61AJ 0J0Q) The Polish company developed a new innovative elbow check valve system. These valves have been designed for waste water applications, especially for waste water including solid parts. The product has compact and simple construction, substitutes for an elbow on the pipeline and eliminates one flanged joint. The system can be adjusted to handle any output size needed, from several inches down to microns. Processing costs no more than 1.60 per ton. Polyurethane Foam from Natural, Renewable Raw Materials Foamed with Water (Ref: 08 LV 58AD 0IYZ) A small Latvian company has developed an innovative technology for polyurethane foam production using synthesis of the polyol systems from natural, renewable raw materials and foaming with water instead of the ozone-depleting Freon s. Rapeseed, linen, sunflower and coconut oils can be used as raw materials instead of petrochemical products. Company is looking for industrial partners and research institutes interested in new applications and further research and development of the technology. Automatic Station for Detection of Petroleum-Originated Pollutions in Water (Ref: 08 PL 61AJ 0J1Y) A Polish institute has developed a new system designed for water monitoring. The main part is a floating sensor platform. The system is monitoring water s quality, and in particular detecting oil spills. The technology allows to build environmental monitoring systems and early warning systems for pollutions (in particular oil spills). The institute is looking for industrial partners for joint further development and adaptation of the technology to specific needs. New Technique for Continuous Monitoring of Microbiological Compositions (Ref: 08 NL 60AF 0IY0) A Dutch SME has developed a technology that enables to monitor specific bacteria continuously on line. This system can be used for detection of micro-organisms in water, beverages or air/gasses. The company is looking for a technical co-operation with companies active in disinfection, utility services and chemical industry. Separation Technology for Oil and Water Emulsion (Ref: 08 LV 58AD 0IXZ) A Latvian company has developed a new technology of heat transfer. In order to accomplish the prototype of the new heat pump type, the company is looking for a technology to separate oil and water emulsion. It is based on LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) and fits into a traditional fluorescent tube fitting. Advantages over conventional fluorescent tubes include: less power consumption, longer lifetime, less waste, better light quality, no flickering during turn-on, possible intelligent control embedded in the tube. Partners interested in further development, license agreements or joint ventures are sought. Water Heating System Combining Phototermic/Photovoltaic Glass Tube Vacuum Collector (Ref: 08 CZ IYM) A small Czech company oriented on production, delivery and assembly of solar thermal and photovoltaic collectors has developed water heating system using both phototermic and photovoltaic solar energy. Main goal is to produce water heating system running on solar radiation with minimum operating needs, reliable both for enterprises and households. The technology is intended for domestic and other small-scale applications. Calculations have been verified by an independent scientific authority, and a conceptual prototype is available. The company is looking for collaboration to develop a fully functional prototype, and subsequent production and sales. Development and Production of a Frequency Controlled Heat Pump for Application in Geothermal Heat Devices (Ref: 08 DE 18A5 0IXU) A German SME active in the field of renewable energies is searching for a control of heat pumps to obtain an optimal rotational speed for the respective loading condition and the respective exterior and interior temperatures. They are looking for a licence or technical cooperation.

This can capture, separate and recycle harmful emissions (Co2 & GHG s) from power stations, reducing carbon emissions by 79.4%. This technology can be retro-fitted to all existing Fossil fuel (coal, gas and oil) powered generating plants, enabling them to meet forthcoming EU legislation. The company now seeks partners for a pilot project and to commercialise fully operational systems. Ammonia Removal from Digested Substrates and Production of Ammonium Sulphate Fertilizer by Using Exhaust Heat of CHP without Addition of Alkali or Acids (Ref: 08 DE J33) A German SME has developed a procedure to remove ammonia from manure and digested substrates by heating it to 80 C under slightly reduced pressure. The evolving gas is absorbed by an aqueous solution of an absorbent to yield a highly concentrated solution of ammonium sulphate, a valuable fertiliser. No further chemicals have to be added. The company seeks for a commercial agreement with technical assistance with constructors and operators of biogas and sewage treatment plants, respectively. Attractive Low-Temperature and Low Voltage Wall or Ceiling Heating (Ref: 08 AT ITR) An Austrian company has developed a large-scale wall/ceiling heating element, which can be powered between 3 and 48 V. The heating element is lightweight, easy to produce, only mm thin and covered with an innovative foil that looks like sand or stone. Advantages are very short heat up phase and decorative integration into existing buildings through an unlimited number of design possibilities. They are looking for partners interested in production, distribution or licence agreements. Environmentally Friendly Products for Odour Treatment (Ref: 08 BE J9I) A Belgian SME offers 2 products to treat odours from wastewater stations, compost, landfills, sewage systems, animal manure, etc. Those innovative contact products prevent the appearance of odours by forming with the odoriferous molecules a stable biodegradable complex. The company looks for commercial agreement with technical assistance. Simultaneously, the company looks for partners interested in buying over its exclusive license and its existing commercial network. Innovative Mobile Device Using Wind Energy for Drinkable Water and Electrical Energy Product (Ref: 08 FR 35L0 0IZK) A French SME specialising in the design and manufacture of wind device providing drinkable water and electrical energy has developed a new and innovative device. The system is entirely autonomous and allows electricity production for isolated sites but it produces also a shower of drinking water by condensation of the humid air. 13 ENERGI Technology and Technological Line for Catalytic Cracking of Polyolefin (Ref: 08 PL 62AS 0J4H) A Research institute in Poland has developed an innovative technology for catalytic cracking of polyolefin (polypropylene and polyethylene waste, waste foils etc.). The technology allows the production of liquid fuel from plastic waste. The institute is looking for a licence agreement and a partner for further development of the technology. Photovoltaic Roofing System (Ref: 08 CZ J74) A Czech engineering company specialized in the field of photovoltaic systems is looking for partners for acquiring license for photovoltaic roofing system with high efficiency or particularly for an innovative technology of a flexible thin film amorphous silicon photovoltaic cells, roofing membranes or concentrating modules. A manufacturing of the whole Photovoltaic roofing system from previous components is sought. Potential application will be large PV plants in the Czech Republic.

15 Hvad er matchmaking? Matchmaking inden for erhvervslivet går ud på at samle forskellige interessenter inden for en given sektor ved kontaktbørser rundt om i Europa med det formål at skabe nye, nationale som internationale relationer blandt de deltagende parter. Ved disse kontaktbørser, som typisk forløber over en eller to dage, får de deltagende parter lejlighed til at møde mange nye, potentielle samarbejdspartnere. Møderne aftales på forhånd og varer typisk 30 minutter, som er nok til at se, om der er potentiale for samarbejde i fremtiden. Matchmaking er med andre ord den hurtigste og billigste måde at få nye kontakter i andre lande. De fleste matchmaking events foregår i forbindelse med internationale messer og giver din virksomhed mulighed for at møde andre virksomheder, som er interessante for jer - uanset om det er i forbindelse med at købe, sælge eller finde nye teknologier m.m. Der er mange arrangementer af denne art i Europa, og Enterprise Europe Network bringer i det efterfølgende information om nogle af dem. 17 Matchmaking Events i Europa Brokerage Event at Waste to Energy 2008 Waste to Energy drejer sig om affald som en ressource, biobrændstoffer, økonomisk drift og reduktion i udledningen af drivhusgasser. For fjerde gang i 2008 åbner Europas førende messearrangør for energi fra affald og biomasse sine døre. Flere end 160 udstillere og 2000 delegerede fra hele verden forventes at komme til Bremen. Teknologiudstillingen i udstillingshallen præsenterer alt det nyeste inden for maskiner, ingeniørvirksomhed og tjenesteydelser inden for produktion af strøm, varme og mobilitet fra affaldsmaterialer og vedvarende ressourcer. Konferencen byder på hands-on information om nye teknologier, strategier for optimering, nye forskningsresultater og meget mere.
