I am currently a certified tutor of the Pro FLE program in Kenya. ii) March, 2011: CIEP France Intensive course on Testing, Evaluation & Assessment in FRENCH. 3

Responsibilities in Uasin Gishu High School: - Head of Department of Foreign Languages (Arabic, French and German). - Career counselor - Head of Subject French language - Patron of the French Club - Trainer Public speaking and verse speaking in French (Kenya Music Festivals) Contribution to Ministry of Education s Mission Given my professional qualifications, proficiency and ability to communicate effectively in French and English, I have been actively involved with Educational issues such as development of strategies for the attainment of Educational goals and objectives, curriculum design, development, implementation and evaluation; use of appropriate teaching/learning methodologies and resources in the French language. I was selected panelist by KIE in the Curriculum Design and Development for Diploma in Education French for Kagumo Teachers' College in August, 2004: I participated in the African Convention of Principals' Conference held in Bomas Nairobi. 5

6 PARTICIPATION IN WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES I have actively participated in seminars, workshops and conferences in Kenya and abroad. I have presented research papers on French language teaching, learning and evaluation in several conferences: 2011: Presented a paper during the International Conference at Kenyatta University entitled Les Professeurs et les Formateurs face aux Étudiants Multilingues : I presented a research paper during the 2 nd Regional Conference for Researchers and Teachers of French at Kenyatta University entitled: L abandon du français langue étrangère aux écoles secondaires du Kenya : Quelles Raisons? Quels Défis? Quelles tentatives d avancement? 2007: I was selected delegate to the Association of Teachers of French in Africa and the Indian Ocean Lusaka Conference. I presented a paper entititled: Français langue partenaire pour le développement d Afrique et du Kenya. June 2006: I participated in the Regional Conference for Researchers and Teachers of French held in USIU, Nairobi. September 2011: I presented a paper entitled: Human Resource Development towards the Realization of the Millennium Development Goals during the 7 th Annual International Conference at Moi University & 2015: I organized and facilitated successful workshops for the teachers of French in the North Rift on the new methods of teaching French and evaluation of learners. 6
