From the timetable options listed, six subjects will be selected; one from each group, 3 at Higher Level (HL) and 3 at Standard Level (SL). For logistical reasons, only one subject can be chosen from each group. Please note that we are unable to offer any additional subjects, neither can we move an option to another group. There are grade prerequisites for subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Economics. The minimum requirement is an IGCSE grade A/A* in the given subject, or the equivalent. If necessary, entrance tests will be set to assess aptitude. Acceptance to Art will be based on the student s portfolio and IGCSE result. IGCSE grade C in English Language and Mathematics is considered a minimum entry requirement for UK universities. Entry to Swiss state Universities requires HL Science and Mathematics (not Math Studies or Business & Management). Italian Universities require option combinations in line with exigencies of the Italian Maturità streams. The Institut International de Lancy reserves the right to modify the options offered, or to propose an adapted IB programme in place of the full Diploma if a student s academic level or work ethic is deemed inadequate.
