3 Your Calendar Is your Key to Success! Master Your Calendar, Master your World!! When it comes to your calendar keep it booked 3 months at a time always focus ahead Determine how many parties you need in a month & in a week Decide which nights you want to work/party Focus on filling those nights Always over book!! Do a weekly check & follow up on your calendar
4 Parties Are Your Best Places To Book Parties!!. You will need A very clean clear monthly calendar. One that you use only for your business. Stars & Dates ( You dont want people to see your dentist appt. on Thursday afternoon and not want to book a party. ) A box of star stickers in two different colors. For our purpose we will use white and red stars. You will also need a couple of giveaways maybe a couple gift bags with a mystery prize. A $10.00 gift certificate good for product. A clear bag tied with a bow and a door prize inside. Go thru the calendar and decide what dates you want to do parties on. ( you can always be flexable, however it is good to have a place to start from. ) Then decide which dates will be the most important for you to fill to hit your goal for that month. Now apply white stickers to the basic dates, however those special dates the ones you really need filled the parties you have to have apply a red sticker to those dates. Take this calendar and even one for the next month to your next party. When you are standing there welcoming everyone and getting to know them pull out your calendar talk about the benefits of booking a party. Explain that the dates with the red stars are your,bonus dates! The first two to schedule on a bonus date takes home one of the giveaways ( you know the ones I mentioned earlier ) then simply hand the calendar along with a pen to be passed around the room.
5 Booking Secret! The Card Game You will need A give away. I use a small clear bag tied with ribbon. A deck of cards, mabe two decks. A calendar and some Hostess packets. At least one or more catalog parties ready to go with a little sign that says "Take me home & earn free product". Show everyone the giveaway and explain that someone will be winning it tonight. All they need to do is ask questions about your business. Anytime they ask a question you will give them a card face down. Allow them to ask questions for 5-10 minutes. ( Just know that they will ask for everything you wanted to tell them! ) After the time is up have them turn over their cards and add up the points. Face cards and Ace's are worth ten points the rest are worth their number value. Now for the really great part I tell everyone that they have a chance to win 4 cards in one shot. I explain that they will get four cards if they book a party, like the one you are having, or if they take home a basket party. Now ask who wants four cards for booking a party ( watch as hands go up ) give them their cards. Now ask who wants four cards for having a catalog party. ( Watch as hands go up ) give them their cards. Now add up the points and give the winner their prize!! Get to scheduling all those parties!
6 Hostess Coaching The majorty of the work is done before the party ever starts! If you coach your hostess you and your hostess will both win BIG!!! Your hostess needs to become attached to the outcome of the party. If she picks out what she wants before her party she will work to get it. Serve your host/hostess by coaching them. A successful party is one that has guests. Sometimes gettng guests there can be the challenging part, be sure to work with your hostess by using the wish list. Find out what products are on her " I gotta have it" list and which are on her "I really want it" list. Then help her set a party sales goal that covers all of the "I gotta have it" list and some of the "I really want it" list. This will give her the incentive, and target to achieve. Be sure she understands the Hostess Rewards Program. Give your hostess her hostess packet in plenty of time before the party. Point out the contact list and encourage her to ill it out. Let her know you would like a copy of all guests and their contact information. Make a goal to invite guests three times, just to be sure they get at least one of the messages. invite them by paper invitation, invitation and/or facebook event a phone reminder the night before. We have also had great luck with texting the guest list a couple hours before the party.
