TC00712A TBI-Bailey offers a wide range of accessories for ph, conductivity and dissolved oxygen measurement and control. These include ph meters, analyzers and calibrators, conductivity analyzers, interface preamplifiers, decade boxes, ph buffer capsules and solutions, conductivity standards, and dissolved oxygen analyzers. The newest additions to this line of accessories are the Model TB101 ph Meter and the Model TB301 Conductivity Analyzer. The Model TB101 ph Meter is a microprocessor-based instrument housed in a rugged waterproof case. It is required for quick and accurate calibration of TBI-Bailey process analyzers. The Model TB301 Conductivity Analyzer is an autoranging, state-of-the-art instrument. It features automatic calibration and a user-adjustable temperature compensation coefficient. Capable of indoor and outdoor use, this analyzer is perfect for all industrial and environmental applications. Accurate conductivity measurements over a wide range. Model TB350 Decade Resistance Box: Excellent for setup and troubleshooting of TBI-Bailey conductivity analyzers. TBI-Bailey

2 Series TB15 Interface Preamplifiers These preamplifiers allow the use of rugged and reliable TBI-Bailey ph sensors with almost any ph receiving device. Using these preamplifiers eliminates dependence on expensive, poor performing or complicated ph sensors from other vendors. Housed in a NEMA 4X junction box, these preamplifiers use existing wiring to connect directly to ph analyzers from other vendors and accept connection to TBI-Bailey ph sensors. Most Series TB15 preamplifiers perform the dual function of amplification and temperature compensation. Most are also compatible with the TBI-Bailey automatic temperature compensators. Refer to Nomenclature for exclusions. All Series 15 preamplifiers meet and usually exceed the specifications of the original vendor. Now it is possible to completely switch over to, or at least experiment with, the world-leading premier process ph sensors at a price any maintenance budget can afford. Upon switching to TBI-Bailey sensors, it will become evident that they minimize maintenance and sensor replacement costs. Figure 1 shows the Series 15 preamplifiers. TPS00669A Figure 1. Series TB15 Interface Preamplifiers Portables Model TB100 Portable ph Analyzer/Calibrator The Model TB100 Portable ph Analyzer/Calibrator accepts inputs from portable ph sensors. It provides millivolt outputs scaled to ph at any temperature from zero degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit to 212 degrees Fahrenheit). It is extremely useful for grab sample ph measurement as well as bench setup and field calibration and troubleshooting of TBI-Bailey process ph analyzers. Shipped in a durable carrying case, this lightweight but rugged, battery-powered instrument is essential to both the operator and technician dealing with process ph instrumentation. Figure 2 shows the Model TB100 analyzer/calibrator. Model TB200 Portable ph Sensor The rugged Model TB200 Portable ph Sensor complements the Model TB100 Portable ph Analyzer/Calibrator. This sensor is permanently filled with saturated Potassium Chloride (KCl). It is a plastic body ph sensor with 1.2 meters (4.0 feet) of integral cable, a spin-off guard for ease in cleaning, and a unique storage bottle that keeps the sensor wetted and other equipment dry between tests. Each sensor comes with small plastic vials containing 4.0, 7.0 and 10.0-pH buffer solutions. Figure 3 shows the Model TB200 sensor. 2 WBPEEUS530001A0

Model TB200 Portable ph Sensor Model TB233 Portable Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Analyzer System This rugged, waterproof instrument is designed for the rigors of field sampling. It includes a proven Model TB235 DO Sensor. This system introduces the lab technician, industrial operator, aquaculturist and environmentalist to the most reliable portable DO measurement tool available. Full microprocessor-controlled electronics allow quick programming of the analyzer for ambient conditions specific to the particular application. All subsequent actions require only single-button procedures. A programmable zero to one-vdc output and RS-232-C serial interface are standard on every unit. The Model TB235 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor requires minimal maintenance. Calibration requires a single keystroke and should not be required more than once a week. A five-minute membrane replacement and electrolyte recharge procedure should not be required more than every three to six months for proper operation. The Model TB233 system is completely waterproof including the sensor cable. Even though the system is designed to float, it will operate while fully submersed. The floating design makes retrieval easy in case it is accidentally dropped into an aeration basin, lake or swift running stream. Power to the entire system is provided by a standard nine-volt battery. No recharging or special batteries are required. Figure 4 shows the Model TB233 system. WBPEEUS530001A0 3

4 TPS00670A Figure 4. Model TB233 Portable Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer System Model TB101 ph Meter The Model TB101 ph Meter is a microprocessor-based instrument housed in a waterproof ABS plastic case. It is required for quick and accurate field calibration and verification of TBI-Bailey process analyzers. It measures ph, degrees Celsius, ion concentration and oxidation reduction potential (ORP). Graphic symbols, which are part of the auto-instruction feature, guide the technician through the calibration process in a step-by-step fashion. The meter allows a one or two-point calibration using any of the five memorized buffer solutions of 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18 and ph. The electrode requires a certain amount of time to stabilize between buffers, so the meter displays the READY symbol only after electrode stabilization. Model TB301 Conductivity Analyzer The design of the Model TB301 Conductivity Analyzer uses state-of-the-art electronics. This provides accurate conductivity measurements over a wide range. The large user-friendly display shows both conductivity and temperature at the same time. The conductivity reading starts with pure water at 0.1 microsiemens per centimeter and automatically switches from one resolution to the next, reaching 199,999 microsiemens per centimeter with only one probe. This analyzer makes temperature compensation easy. Pressing the CAL (calibrate) key followed by the BUF (buffer) key allows a choice between a 1,413-microsiemen per centimeter or a 12,880-microsiemen per centimeter standard solution. Pressing the CFM (confirm) key completes the calibration. The FACTOR key is used to select temperature compensation coefficients between zero percent and three percent. 4 WBPEEUS530001A0

5 Model TB350 Decade Resistance Box The Model TB350 Decade Resistance Box is a direct reading device that is excellent for the setup and troubleshooting of TBI-Bailey conductivity analyzers. Connected to the analyzer in lieu of the conductivity sensor, the decade resistance box allows the simulation of solution conductivity via resistance. The high resolution and wide rangeability of the decade resistance box allows conductivity simulation for all types of applications including pure water and concentrated acids and bases.
