Thanks to aerodynamic car and cab design and ultra roller guides, passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride with minimal noise and vibration. When combined with Otis Compass destination management system, Skyrise transports passengers to their destinations up to 55 percent faster. Passengers simply enter their destination floor to receive an elevator assignment for the fastest, most direct and least crowded route to their destination. 11 ReGen drives deliver substantial energy savings while helping to meet or exceed established worldwide standards. Pioneering technology that is more efficient TM In an elevator system, energy is created during braking such as when a light elevator car ascends or when a heavily loaded car descends. In a typical nonregenerative drive, this energy is lost and is dissipated as heat into the building. Energy Skyrise Systems Space ReGen drives capture the energy that would normally be lost as heat. ReGen drives feed this energy back into the building s internal electrical grid where it can be reused by other building systems such as lighting. When combined with ReGen, Skyrise systems use up to 75% less energy. Permanent magnet synchronous machines use up to 50% less energy. LED lighting with standby mode is up to 80% more energy efficient than conventional fluorescent lamps. Adaptive motion profiling reduces peak energy requirement. The energy-efficiency of Skyrise systems have been validated based on standards set by Verein Deutscher Ingeniure (VDI). Skyrise systems achieved an overall A energy-efficiency class rating. Skyrise systems require a smaller hoistway, freeing up valuable core space inside your building. Permanent magnet synchronous machines are 40% smaller and when paired with Otis drive technology and control system which are 50% smaller, this enables a smaller machine room.

In addition, a controller monitors the system s electronic safety devices thousands of times per second to ensure constant peace of mind.
