4 PBS Mission Statement The mission of PBS is to ensure and positive environment that fosters and acknowledges students who demonstrates citizenship.

5 Burleson ABC s Always be Kind. Be Safe. Control yourself. Do your Best. Everyone deserves respect!

6 Burleson Student Arrival Expectations Enter- Voice Level O. Hands, feet and objects to self. Go straight to cafeteria. Sit down. Wait for teacher with Voice Level O. (Reading and homework allowed.)

7 Burleson Teacher Arrival Expectations Be at duty on time in your designated area. Spread out and Actively Monitor. Teachers will greet staff and students kindly and appropriately. Teachers will distribute tickets to students following expectations.

8 Burleson Assembly Student Expectations Enter in line- Voice Level O. Sit in designated area Keep body and objects to yourself. Respond to attention signal. Follow directions given by adults. Show respect by responding appropriately. Exit in line- Voice Level O.

9 Burleson Assembly Teacher Expectations 1. Enter and exit with students at Voice Level Stay with and actively monitor all students. 3. Model expected behavior. Burleson Assembly Parents/Families Expectations 1. Sign in at the office. 2. Must be wearing Visitor s Pass. 3. Sit in designated areas. 4. Silence cell phones. 5. Must keep your non-enrolled child seated and quiet. 6. Parents will exit after all students. 7. Parents do NOT remove students from class line.

10 Burleson Student Cafeteria Expectations Enter with lunch cards. Voice Level O. Be respectful of ALL adults. Get all items the first time. Stay seated - Raise Hand - Voice Level 1. Be polite. Keep body and food to yourself. Clean up your area. Throw trash away. Exit- Voice Level O.

11 Burleson Teacher Cafeteria Expectations Teachers will walk students from recess to assigned tables in the lunchroom. Teachers will be at duty on time. Teachers will spread out and actively monitor students. Teachers will pass out tickets to students following Cafeteria Expectations. Teachers will pick students up from Cafeteria on time and walk the students back to classroom.

12 Burleson Student Dismissal Expectations Wait for teacher. Voice Level O. If you walk, leave immediately. Go to designated area. Wait for your name. Voice Level 2. At 3:45, go to office and call parents.

13 Burleson Teacher Dismissal Expectations Be at duty on time in your designated area. Spread out and Actively Monitor. Teachers will communicate to staff and students kindly and appropriately. Teachers will distribute tickets to students following expectations.

14 Burleson Student Hallway Expectations Voice Level O. Walk in a straight line. One foot purple and one foot on white. Stay on right side of hallway. on Hands, feet and objects to self. Stop at designated areas.

15 Burleson Teacher Hallway Expectations Walk with students to destination while actively monitoring behavior. Teachers will maintain a voice level of 2 (Normal Conversation) or lower. Teachers will treat visitors, staff, and students with respect and kindness. Teachers will respectfully ask all visitors to sign in at the office and get a visitor s badge. Teachers will pass out tickets to students following Hallway Expectations.

16 Burleson Student Recess Expectations Stay in designated play areas. Use playground equipment appropriately. Keep rocks on the ground. Watch and listen for teacher signal to line up. Follow all teacher directions immediately.

17 Burleson Teacher Recess Expectations Be at duty on time. Spread out and Actively Monitor. Teachers will communicate to staff and students kindly and appropriately. Teachers will walk students to lunch. Teachers will distribute tickets to students following expectations.

18 Burleson Student Restroom Expectations Enter- Voice Level O. Respect others privacy. Take care of YOUR business. Flush. Wash hands. Put trash in trash can. Exit- Voice Level O.

19 Burleson Teacher Restroom Expectations Teachers will be present at the restroom during whole group restroom breaks. Teachers will monitor time and activity when students leave to go to the restroom. Teachers will actively monitor the restrooms throughout the day.

20 Burleson Science Lab Student Expectations Enter science lab safely with a level 0 voice Wait for teacher directions Individual CHAMPS Clean stations Put materials away in correct location Exit lab upon teacher s directions with a level 0 voice

21 Burleson Science Lab Teacher Expectations Actively Monitor Students at all times and ensure that equipment is being appropriately used Teachers will distribute tickets to students following expectations Make sure that all equipment is returned to its proper location upon dismissal

22 Burleson Computer Lab Student Expectations Enter computer lab safely and with a level 0 voice Wait for teacher directions Individual CHAMPS Log off computer Hang your headphones up and place the mouse beside the keyboard Collect all your belongings including trash Exit lab upon teacher s directions with a level 0 voice

23 Burleson Computer Lab Teacher Expectations Actively Monitor Students at all times and ensure that equipment is being appropriately used. Teachers will distribute tickets to students following expectations. Make sure that all equipment is returned to its proper location upon dismissal.
