4 program Vienna, budapest & Prague Day 1 Departure Day 2 Arrive in Vienna Meet your KIconcerts Tour Manager Vienna is a city that needs to be explored, for many of its charms are hidden in narrow old side streets and ancient courtyards. There are 17th-century houses and quaint baroque squares tucked in all corners of the city. Every district boasts of houses where Beethoven, Mozart, Mahler or one of the Strausses lived Arrive at the hotel for check in Welcome dinner Overnight Vienna Day 3 Breakfast (daily) Guided city tour of Vienna including Ring Avenue, the Hofburg Palace, the Opera House, St Stephen s Cathedral, Mozart s Figaro House, City Hall and the Central Cemetery (housing honorary tombs of famous composers like Beethoven, Gluck, Schubert, Johann Strauss father and son and Brahms) Later we visit the Schönbrunn Palace, the fabulous baroque summer residence of the Hapsburg Emperors. Here Marie-Antoinette lived as a young girl. The rococo interior is recreated as it was at its zenith. Here the six year old Mozart played for the empress inside the Palace. 5 PROGRAM Day 4 Start the day with a visit to St Stephen s Cathedral Enjoy a Danube River cruise; see all the highlights of Vienna from the water Concert Overnight Vienna Day 5 Transfer to Budapest Explore Budapest: see Buda and Pest, the two halves of the city, the Buda Castle, the Fisherman s Bastion, the Hungarian Parliament and Heroes Square Overnight Budapest Day 6 This morning learn about the rich music tradition of Hungary. During this tour you will visit the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum, where you will see his original instruments and music library. Afterwards you will continue with a visit to the Bartok Museum, the final home of this other great Hungarian composer Concert Overnight Budapest Sample Tour 5

6 program Day 7 Travel to Prague, Czech Republic. Prague - the city s location amid blossoming slopes and gardens, and its unique architectural landmarks have made it one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The lovely Vltava River divides Prague, the Golden City of a Hundred Spires. Fabled spires towering above the roof tops spread out from each side of the river Overnight Prague Day 8 Today we have a guided tour of Prague which covers the Castle district and the Old town, including a visit to St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica & the old Royal Palace Overnight Prague EUROPE 6
