Same shapes but start from low position as if picking up the ball. Balances: Standing on 1 leg (leg in front) arms out wide. Change legs. Standing on 1 leg (leg in front) arms up high. Change legs. Competition first pair to complete ten catches between them without dropping the ball. Learning outcome to learn how to throw underarm accurately and catch a moving ball. Pairs Game: Working with partner. - Six balls to score as many runs (boundary, running) as possible. - Leader is the bowler and umpire. - Everyone else is fielding. 5 Week 3: Warm-up: I know how to run with a bat. I know how to strike a ball with a bat. I know what a fielder does. Fielding races. - Working in teams (then split into two). - Roll ball accurately to team opposite and follow the ball but go to back of the line. - Receiver throws ball back to team opposite and follows ball but goes to the back of the line. - Team is finished when everyone is back in their starting positions. Pick up with 1 hand; pick up with 2 hands (stay low, scoop, outside of the foot, head still). Tall, wide, tall and wide, wide and tall. Up on toes, point fingers (keep hold of tennis ball).
