1 August 15, 2011 Did you know Vertical Air Turnover Units with Direct Fired Gas Heating are available from AAON? Custom AAON equipment is available for nearly any application. An example of this is an AAON XA Series custom air handling unit currently being manufactured for an industrial air turnover application. This modular system includes an Intake and Filtration Module, a Direct Fired Gas Heater Module, and a Supply Fan and Discharge Module ft Drawing of Custom AAON Vertical Air Handling Unit 10.5 ft Direct Fired Gas Burner within the Middle Module

Panels include a thermal break, with no metal contact from inside to outside, to prevent heat transfer through the panel and prevent condensation on the outside of the cabinet. The inner wall protects the insulation from moisture damage, prevents microbial growth, and is easy to clean. This type of construction makes the cabinet more rigid and resistant to damage, provides increased sound dampening, and reduces air leakage and infiltration. Corrosion resistant exterior paint exceeds a 2,500 hour salt spray test - over 5 times the industry standard of 500 hours. (This unit s exterior will be painted after testing.)
