The frameless motor provides 7.5 kw in a very space-saving design. It can be used with many different applications. The oil-immersed motor offers power up to 5.5 kw and is ideal for hydraulic applications. The DriveSAS electronics starts single-phase asynchronous motors safely and reliably. 4 Frameless motors Motors HANNING s frameless motors are squirrel-cage motors. They are maintenance free and mainly characterised by their rugged design. Two different types are available, the singlephase AC motor up to 2.2 kw and the three-phase AC motor up to 7.5 kw. As standard, frameless motors have protection class F. The compact and powerful drives are mainly used in the appliance industry but also in other industrial applications. Their space-saving and individual design allow the use of these motors in almost any application. One of the main advantages of this motor is its low generation of noise and its low weight. Naturally, the motor can be used together with a frequency inverter. Engineering-offer HANNING analyses customer requests, develops and manufactures drive components according to the requirements and integrates them into the drive or the customer s plant. Customer-specific mechanical design Our manufacturing knowledge and state-of-the-art factories ensure the production of individual drive components. If required, HANNING can manufacture special shafts, flanges and endshields. Tests Frameless motors are tested under load in HANNING s laboratories. If required by the customer it is possible to simulate a complete application set-up to the motors in operation and optimize them if necessary. Endurance tests are carried out in HANNING s special endurance test laboratories. 6 Applications Door drives The high breakaway torque of frameless motors ensures safe operation of doors even under very difficult operating and environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures and wind. The motors are available up to IP55 which makes them suitable for many different industries. Door drive Drives for grinding machines The compact design of HANNING frameless motors enables space-saving integration directly into a grinding machine. The geometry and material of the shafts ends can be adapted to the application. Grinding machine drive Drives for packaging machines Frameless motors are used in packaging machines. For this hydraulic application they are equipped with a special endshield, shaft seal and winding. 7 Applications Centrifugal drives Frameless motors used for driving centrifuges are designed for a speed up to 25,000 rpm. This type of drive is mainly characterised by its vertical shaft with a special geometry and a winding designed for high frequencies. It is connected to the customer s machine through a special shaft and an additional shaft seal. Centrifugal drive Drives for bread and meat cutting machines The input shafts of frameless motors are made of a material especially certified for the food industry. The motors only generate little noise heat and are therefore especially suitable for driving cutting machines used in the food industry. 8 Oil-immersed motors Motors The basic version of HANNING oil-immersed motors are 2 and 4-pole three-phase AC motors up to 5.5 kw. Variants for single-phase and/or special voltages are available. The standard oil-immersed motor is frame size B3 / B14, it comes with rolling bearings, protection class F and connection cables. The main fields of application for low-nose oil-immersed motors are hydraulic systems, such as hydraulic car lifts or lifts in the automobile industry. Thanks to its compact design and direct mounting options, the drive offers a cost-efficient and space-saving solution. If you compare an oil-immersed motor with a standard motor, the output power is twice as high for the same size since the oil-immersed motor cools the oil constantly. The permissible oil temperature is max. 70 C and must be ensured by sufficient heat dissipation through the hydraulic system. 13 DriveSAS electronic starter for single-phase asynchronous DriveSAS motors Single-phase asynchronous motors have low breakaway torques. For some applications, these torques are not high enough to accelerate the motor to its operating speed. This is where the DriveSAS electronic starter is used to ensure a safe and reliable motor start. The electronics can be quickly and easily adapted to your application. We either set the switching instant or the switching speed and it is always possible to find customer-specific solutions. The DriveSAS electronics safely and reliably start your single-phase asynchronous motor! Starting capacitors are switched depending on speed or time and ensure stable operation even if the load and / or mains conditions vary. Unfavorable environmental conditions do not exist for the electronic starter. Because of its fully-electronic design, wear, inertia and limited capacities are problems of the past. Reliable and stable operation can be guaranteed. All external terminals and internal connections with the motor windings can be entirely wired on the p.c.b. It is easy to select the version matching your application. Only two variants 100 to 120 V and 200 to 400 V cover all motor powers, voltages and frequencies, which means that the electronic starter can be used worldwide.
