Entry times of a Trade at Index Close (TAIC) trade Eurex Clearing AG will take the following measure with regard to.the Exchange for Physicals facility for index products (EFPI): For entry of trades on the basis of the index closing price plus basis ( Trade at Index Close ), entry times will be extended by another admissible exception. Effective 14 September 2015, the time frame for trade entry on the four trading days preceding the last trading day of the respective equity index future will be extended to 18:45 CET. All other rules regarding entry times will remain unchanged. 3 eurex clearing circular 095/15 Amendments to the Conditions for Utilization of Eurex Trade Entry Services, clarification on entry time of trades on the basis of the index closing price plus basis ( Trade at Index Close ) Effective 14 September 2015, Eurex Clearing will take the following measures: Decrease the Minimum number of Block Trades for MDAX,TecDAX and DivDAX equity index derivatives Clarify the trade entry time for Block Trades using the Eurex Trade Entry Services The amended sections of the Conditions for Utilization of the Eurex Trade Entry Services (General Conditions for Participation) are attached to this circular (attachment 1). Introduce an additional exception for entry of trades on the basis of the index closing price plus basis ( Trade at Index Close ) All amendments will come into effect on 14 September Decrease of the Minimum number of Block Trades for selected equity index derivatives Effective 14 September 2015, the minimum number of tradable contracts for usage of the Eurex Trade Entry Services will be reduced as follows: Eurex products Minimum number of contracts Futures Options (current) (new) MDAX F2MX O2MX TecDAX FTDX OTDX DivDAX FDIV ODIV Clarification on the trade entry time for Block Trades using Eurex Trade Entry Services Effective 14 September 2015, Number 3.4 of the General Conditions for Participation will be amended in order to clarify that each Off-Book trade has to be entered into the Eurex Exchange system by the Participant initiating the Off-Book trade within 15 minutes (trade entry period) after its conclusion, unless Eurex Clearing announces special trade entry periods on its website and via electronic circular. Effective 14 September 2015, the following special trade entry period in connection with Number 3.4 will be introduced: 2.1 Introduction of an additional exception for entry of trades on the basis of the index closing price plus basis ( Trade at Index Close ) Effective 14 September 2015, in connection with the Exchange for Physicals facility for index products (EFPI), entry of trades on the basis of the index closing price plus basis ( Trade at Index Close ), the time frame for trade entry on the four trading days preceding the last trading day of the respective equity index future will be extended to 18:45 CET. All other rules regarding entry times will remain unchanged, i.e. in general, trade entry must be done whenever the next official closing price of the underlying index is available. 4 Attachment 1 to Eurex Clearing circular 095/15 GCP - Eurex TES Conditions for Utilization of the Eurex Trade Entry Services As of (General Conditions for Participation) Page 1 ********************************************************************************** AMENDMENTS ARE MARKED AS FOLLOWS: INSERTIONS ARE UNDERLINED DELETIONS ARE CROSSED OUT ********************************************************************************** 3 Clearing of Off-Book Trades 3.4 Each Off-Book Trade has to be entered into the Eurex System by the Participant initiating the Off-Book Trade within 15 minutes (trade entry period) after its conclusion, unless Eurex Clearing AG announces special trade entry periods on its websites ( and via electronic circular. The trade entry period starts after a) the Eurex System is available and b) all trade details to be entered are available. A period of up to 15 minutes (period of ratification) is available starting with the entry of an Off- Book Trade into the Eurex System by the Participant initiating the transaction or by the Third Party Information Provider, as the case may be, and ending with the acceptance of such Off-Book Trade by the Participant accepting the transaction. Furthermore, upon request of Eurex Clearing AG, Participants are obliged to provide evidence that an Off- Book Trade had been entered into the Eurex System within the prescribed timelines set out in this Number 3.4.
