Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring As our primary form of service, Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring is one of Frontop s main area of expertise. Our years of successful experience and knowledge guarantees that our clients receive accurate and quality work. We have shown strong monitoring performance on our previous projects for TTC subway tunnels, subway stations, Metrolinx, CN Railways Grade Separation and many other government infrastructures. Frontop s extensive monitoring program system including; design, instrument supply and installation, data collection and reporting, and real-time web hosting, ensures that the client s needs are fully satisfied. Some of our geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring services include: Inclinometers Crack Gauges Open Standpipe Piezometers Vibrating Wire Piezometers Vibrating Wire Strain Gauges Load Cell Tape Extensometer Multi-Point Borehole Extensometer Tiltmeters and Displace Transducers Pre & Post Construction Condition Survey

Noise and Vibration Noise and vibration are two of the many concerns affecting workers health and public safety during construction. The industry today requires clean, safe and quiet workplaces. In the case with construction sites, noise must be mitigated to allow important instructions to be clearly understood, warnings heard and hearings protected. Public disturbances must also be kept at an acceptable state to prevent affecting nearby communities. Our monitoring system employs the industry s leading technology in noise In Addition, high vibrations can cause and vibration control with fully permanent damage to equipment and automated monitoring instruments and infrastructure. Vibration levels must be customized web-based data access. monitored and kept under control to Clients are able to access the passwordprevent extra costly repairs and protected Frontop monitoring website and acquire the noise and vibration possible safety concerns. levels for any given time. Alert messages can also be sent to clients In order to address these issues, through and/or text messages Frontop Engineering utilizes a selfwhen the levels exceeds the given developed Real-Time Remote safety range, so that appropriate Monitoring System that monitors the actions can be taken in a timely noise and vibration levels of the manner. workplace from anywhere, anytime.

Precision Surveying & Layout Precision surveying is an advanced technique used to and monitor movements of shoring systems, structural members, buildings, utilities and other infrastructure caused by related construction. It is often required to determine whether certain structural members are moved, or if excessive settlement has occurred. In the case where the movement exceeds the specified limit, precision surveying can identify this situation immediately and have appropriate measures taken to prevent any possible safety concerns. As part of our comprehensive monitoring program, Frontop utilizes leading technology in Leica TS11 and TS15 total stations to serve our precision surveying practices. This top of the line machine provides an accuracy level of +/- 0.1 mm and ensures precise and accurate measurements. In construction workplaces, precision survey monitoring is used to reduce risks, provide cost savings, verify design assumptions and most importantly, protect lives. These benefits are simple to realize as long as errors are kept to a minimum and an understanding of what causes errors goes a long way towards avoiding or minimizing them. Frontop has years of experience in this aspect and numerous completed projects showing our understanding and competence in precision surveying. Planning, Layout, Baseline Survey, Monitoring and Reporting are the few most important steps in our program to ensure a proper and complete precision survey. Frontop also provide services in legal and topographic map for property, construction layout and accurately precise measurements.

Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Similar to all types of foundations in life, foundations in construction are the most important aspect of a structure. A solid and well built foundation is the first and most important step in the building process. Geotechnical engineering is concerned with the behaviour of earth materials occurring on the surface and below ground. A good understanding of soil and rock mechanics can help determine all relevant properties of the material and evaluate how they respond. Our Geotechnical Engineering department provides multiple services and can be generally summarized in the following sections: Geotechnical Investigation and Reporting Soil and Rock Mechanics Rock, Concrete and Asphalt Coring Shoring installation supervision and tie-back load testing Slope Evaluation and Stability Analysis Pavement Design and Evaluation Piling Driving and Analysis Footing Inspection, Subgrade Inspection, Caisson Inspection, Grouting Inspection, Reinforcing Steel and Structural Steel Inspection Concrete and Mortar Testing, Soil and Asphalt Testing, Concrete Pull-Out and LOK Testing, Percolation Testing

Engineering Design Buildings define contemporary urban lives and shape city images. Knowing that the place you live and work in is safe and comfortable is a basic necessity for every person. Frontop understands how building performance could interact with people's daily work and life. We continue to endeavour in achieving our clients' needs and expectations through embedding state-of-the-art technology in our building designs. Our motivation for success is driven by our client s satisfaction. Frontop's design team is new and growing, with diverse expertise joining our team regularly. Our specialists pursue excellence both technically and efficiently while delivering designs meeting the needs and ideas of our clients. We focus on design for residential, industrial and commercial buildings, institutions, public assemblies to businesses renovation. Our services include: Structural Design Civil Design HVAC System Design Plumbing System Design Fire Protection System Design Building Addition and Alteration Building Permit Application Government Paperwork Handling
