2 Sales record for TESS Sales in TESS for 2014 amounted to NOK 2,80 billion, representing the largest sales volume to date in TESS. Pre-tax profit ended up at NOK 132 million. Book equity was strengthened by 16,3 per cent during 2014 compared to the previous year. The owners are reinvesting the majority of the profits in the business, in Norway and abroad. In this way TESS can remain independent of banks and other financial institutions. Tess is therefore a rock solid wholly Norwegian service company preparing for expansion. Continued growth is grounded in the company's vision and the objective of achieving a sales turnover of NOK 10 billion by TESS, in strong competition from the market, has won major supply contracts with several of the biggest potential customers in Norway. More than 110 TESS sites TESS opened for new business at six new sites during 2014 and 1 st half of Two of these are in the form of Partnershop, collaborating with major customers. TESS has cooperated with the onshore and offshore petroleum industry for more than 40 years. Whether it comes to oil companies, contractors or other companies associated to the business. We are currently seeing that the notified pursuit of cost reductions, which in addition was followed by a significant weakened oil price, dampens demand for goods and services as they TESS offers. Our development is anyway customer dependent. New ways of cooperation between TESS and some customers gives us cases with a positive outlook. A weaker exchange rate in 2014 has been disadvantageous for TESS considering our commodity. Anyway, we have taken steps to move more aggressively into emerging markets. This steady expansion in TESS is to a great extent linked to our core motto: Follow your customers! The strategy is to follow our major customers wherever they might be. TESS has enjoyed great success with this strategy. Our efforts to stretch ourselves further out into the value chain have brought results.
