3 ROLA WOODEN SASH WINDOW STOPS Rola sash stops are designed to stop sash windows opening past each other whilst allowing ventilation. The heads revolve, but they are removable with a key. R1/0 R1/02 R1/01 This provides security against illegal entry and prevents small children climbing or falling out. A Rola S comes in three sizes: The 1mm combats those sash windows with large gaps between them as well as those with tapered bottom halves. Products R1/07, R1/0 R1/0, R1/, R1/1 and R1/1 are not illustrated R1/0 R1/04 The 1mm for standard wooden windows. The 1mm which fastens into a smaller threaded insert and is therefore suitable for double glazed wooden sash windows and those finer frames. A separate rectangular Stop Plate is available to protect the internal window frame. Additional threaded inserts are available to allow two positions for each stop. Using this as a guide, the body of the lock is secured to the fixed wooden frame with the non-return posi-drive screws supplied. 6 ROLA RENOWN LOCKING BOLTS ROLA RENOWN STAPLES 7 Rola Renown locking bolts are used to secure wooden and metal French doors, hinged back doors and back gates. They are also used as temporary locks, on doors previously attacked, whilst a new door is being prepared. Most Rola Renown bolts are supplied with a knob end to allow a simple push and pull action especially necessary for users with impaired dexterity, and because the bolts do not lock automatically, they are more suited for the disabled. Rola Renown bolts come in four sizes: R/02 R/01 R/0 R/04 R/0 R/0 00mm. The Rola Renown 00 has a 2mm throw and is suitable for the top bolt on tall doors or operation by users confined to wheelchairs. Products R/0, R/ and R/ are not illustrated R/07 0mm. The Rola Renown 0 has a 2mm throw. It is useful where extra length is required or as a bottom bolt for those confined to wheelchairs. 10mm. The 10 model has the added advantage of a longer 7mm throw. mm. The standard Rola Renown comes in two body shapes the knob end and a streamlined version, both have a 2mm throw. Packing pieces are available mm thick to pack under bolts. The 2mm for Crittall frames. All Rola Renown products are supplied with their own fixings. Rola Renown locking bolts are simple to fit being surface mounted onto the door. If necessary use the correct packing pieces.
