5 MOUNTING BRACKET DIMENSIONS Weight can be 50kg when full. Please note that the key lock is located on the right hand side of the loader and requires 150mm clearance on this side to insert a key and at least 70mm clearance on the left for door opening. If the unit is to be mounted in a recess with the front flush with the wall then you will also need to leave 10mm clearance at the bottom and top to allow the door to open freely. If the unit is required to be in a recess but not elevated from its base surface then the door moulding will be required to protrude past the recess by 60mm and will not sit flush.

6 SAFETY Whilst lifting the Uniware guest card terminal always use a minimum of two people to hold the weight and a third or fourth person to undertake any maintenance to mount the unit. Also please make sure that you follow your onsite health and safety procedures and that any risk is identified to the relevant parties.

7 STEP 1 The terminal comes complete with a mounting bracket (pictured), on the bracket you have three 6mm holes which match three holes on the rear of the terminal itself. You will need to mark on the wall the three holes at the required height. (See DDA guideline diagram at the end of this document for recommendations).

8 STEP 2 There is a cable ridge at the top of the loader where you can run the power cable (kettle lead) and cat5e network cable. Also you can see the three holes that line up with the mounting bracket and the lip where the terminal rests on the bracket. The idea is that you then screw the left and right outer screw holes to secure the bracket on the wall. Additional holes can be drilled by 3 rd parties on the basis these are checked by the equipment owner and that they are checked with Uniware for confirmation and we can advise of any cables \ devices that may be at risk when drilling.

9 STEP 3 Lift the terminal onto the mounting bracket that is now attached to the wall securely and from inside you should be able to align the centre screw hole allowing you to fix this screw in place through the terminal itself.

You will need a solid concrete base to mount too and we would recommend a fixing like this - /334/335/388/607 M10 is the largest bolt you can get through the base plate, M8 or M10 would be appropriate. We also recommend that the floor stand is covered with a plinth or sits behind a wall and is just used for supporting purposes.
