2 IRAX Spring General description These balancers, ranging from 0.4 to 180 kg, are divided into 5 ranges: Automatic drum locking in case of spring breakdown Safety suspension Rotating safety hook Limiting device Light Duty (including the hose reel balancers) Medium Duty Intermediate Duty Heavy Duty Super Duty Centrifugal Rotation on ball bearings Main features of the balancers are simple, rugged contruction in die-cast aluminium, which gives longer life; the safety locking device on the Medium, Intermediate, Heavy and Super Duty models prevents load dropping; and simple controls for spring adjustment to allow for accurate, easy balancing. The range also allows greater choice of balancing stoke; the Medium range is available with both 2.0 and 2.5 metre stroke, and the Super Duty range with 2.5 and 3.0 metre stroke.
