The Boston Tea Party was about the British East India company to get more money. Why did the East India company lose money? It was because the Americans stopped buying the tea. They wanted the colonists to buy the tea again, so they also planned to serve and take the British tea and sell it all around America. The most surprising thing is that the British took away all major taxes, except the tea one. The colonists thought the reason that they didn t take away the tea tax is because they thought that the cheapness of the tea from the problems with the company was actually supposed to be a secret way for the colonists to get taxed extra. They got so angry they dumped all the 7 million pounds of the East India company s non used tea into the Boston Harbor.

Newberry, How they dumped the tea How they did it: John Adams and other patriots took 3 British ships and got ready to dump the tea. All colonists disguised as Indians so they wouldn t be recognized. The colonists I bet did a lot of planning to do the Boston Tea Party. I wonder if any Loyalists watched the dumping of the tea, but I do know that King George III did know. I wonder how did he know about the Boston Tea Party? Telegram? Newspaper? Chapter 2: King George III s thoughts about the Boston Tea Party That King I bet was outraged of those colonists that dumped Britain s tea. He got so mad he planned to STARVE the Bostonians until they listened to him! He really really really got upset. He also closed the Boston Harbor until they payed for all the tea. But the Americans sent food and supplies to help the Bostonians so they won t go hungry. King George III is totally not having empathy for the colonists! He doesn t even care if they are upset or sad!

3 Why the Boston Tea Party was Important The Boston Tea Party was important because it got of a lot of attention and because it was like the Americans got rid of the Britain s food. The Boston Tea was important because it got a lot of attention. It was literally the whole Massachusetts was watching, so then a lot of people knew about it. So then King George would get mad, then there would be a war! Lastly the Boston Tea Party was important because it was like the Americans were getting rid of Britain's food. You need food to survive. So if the Americans were getting rid of Britain s tea, and since tea was really popular in England, the British would be mad and start a war. I think the Boston Tea Party was important. It s important because it attracted a lot of attention, and because it was like the Americans were getting rid of England s food. Chapter 4: King George s Decision Hello. I am King George III. Lately some colonists a.k.a. my enemies, have been causing...trouble. They have been dumping all my precious tea into the Boston Harbor. I thought lowering the price of our tea was a good thing, but they were not thinking that. So they dumped the tea

4 for nothing. It s been on my nerves so much I plan to close that Harbor till they pay for all that tea they dumped. I will stop this nonsense by going somewhere very very very important to the colonies. I rushed to the Independence Hall * like a competitor on Chopped and declared I don t want them to be a separate country. Hello fellow General Washington, Ben Franklin, John Adams, and John Hancock. Greetings, George III, said the filthy, weird, selfish General. Then I spoke up. I am hear to tell this congress that I am not going to say yes to the Declaration of Independence, and that every single problem we had in here is done. I am in charge, and the tea you dumped is going to be payed for. Um..King? Asked John Adams. We already signed it, so you lose. Get away King! We are independent! You are not allowed in this American place!! I got so mad I raced all the way down to Britain on my bare feet in exactly 36 hours and just gave up. In 1776 after the Americans declared their independence, King George III said, I wish nothing but good, therefore everyone who does not agree with me is a traitor or a scoundrel. Chapter 5: John Adams and the King s arrival Hello. John Adams here. Ever heard of the Boston Tea Party??? Yeah, bet you have. Well, I am one of those patriots, (Actually an important one) that dumped the tea. I was just so mad we got taxed. So when the King came to Independence Hall, I was so mad about what happened I just scared that filthy, weird, and selfish King out of our Hall. Heres what happened: We were about to sign it. The heard knocking. I opened the door, then there he was. Saying, Greetings (I think he was being sarcastic.) So I spoke up. I didn t want to do anything with him anymore, so I said, We are

5 independent. So he ran away. I clearly did the right thing. I bet, I really bet, he will never bother us again. Chapter 6: How would the war change if the King went to Independence Hall? King George I bet would ve been really determined to go to the Independence Hall to stop the signing. But he had other king things to do. But, if he had been there, the war could have changed. It could have changed if there was a fight to stop the signing, or he could have captured them and then we would have no independence. The signing could have changed if there was a fight to stop the signing. For example, if there was a fight, then the founding fathers could have not signed it. Then so if there was a fight, the King would have done damage to the Hall. So then I bet we would surrender. That would not be good!! The signing could have changed if the King captured them and even killed them! This would have really changed the war and the signing. There would be no Declaration and we would still be the 13 colonies. So good thing the King never went there..it would have really changed the whole American Revolution. Chapter 7: Conclusion I think the Boston Tea Party was very very important how it really was. But if the King had been to the signing of the Declaration of Independence to complain about any spark, it would have changed the war. In addition to this, I would really have to go in the King s shoes to experience that or just one spark. How would you feel if you were King George and had to deal with losing the tea from your own colonies?
