There are marbles (black and white) inside the box. The purpose of this box is to make sure the Assigner does not have too much control. The Assigner must pull out a marble and if he gets the one white one, he has to perform the task. Chapter What was Brother Leon s show? He cursed and acted tough in front of the students. 16. What did Brother Leon accuse Bailey of doing? Leon accused George Bailey of cheating. 17. How did Bailey respond to the accusation? How did the rest of the class respond? Bailey denied cheating while the class simply watched the attack. 18. Who did Brother Leon say was the bravest of all? He said Bailey was the bravest because he refused to say he had been cheating when he hadn t. 19. What did Brother Leon compare his actions to? He compared his actions to that of the Nazis. It is to tell the students to sell the chocolates. 35. What was the reaction of the Vigils when Archie told them he had promised Brother Leon their support? How did Archie respond to their reaction?
