15 special interest activities Hawksbill Turtle Experience July July 7-12 August August This five-day immersive experience allows guests to take a hands-on approach to Jumby Bay Island s conservation efforts. The experience qualifies as 6 hours of community service for students, during which guests will enjoy guided eco-tours, explore mainland Antigua, and actively participate alongside the researchers in the Jumby Bay Hawksbill Turtle Project. Evening Turtle Watch Nightly upon confirmed sighting Pasture Beach offers a natural haven and protected nesting site for the endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle. The Jumby Bay Hawksbill Turtle Project invites guests of Jumby Bay to witness the nocturnal ritual of Hawksbill turtles nesting and subsequent hatching of eggs. Guests can request a mid-evening wake-up call upon sightings of mother turtles nesting on Pasture Beach, or hatchlings burrowing out of the sand to crawl out to sea. Tennis Program The Jumby Bay Tennis Club offers three courts, two of which are lit for evening play, and an array of amenities from chilled water, sports beverages, and towels to seasoned tennis pros ready to offer instruction or a challenging game. The resident tennis pro Jerry Williams is a Davis Cup veteran, and has played with top-ranked players, including Steffi Graf, Chanda Rubin, and Mary Pierce, all past guests of Jumby Bay. & Yoga Pavilion The state of the art fitness center outfitted with the latest in strength and cardiovascular equipment allows guests to maintain their exercise regimes and explore new boundaries. A dedicated outdoor Yoga Pavilion offers a tranquil setting for yoga, stretching, and meditation. Private training available Cricket Tour of the West Indies July Witness a classic confrontation between two of the world s greatest cricketing teams, West Indies & India. Enjoy access and exclusive viewing privileges from Jumby Bay s private box for this match at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
